Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has surprised market vendors in Croatia by taking a walk and buying flowers for his new girlfriend.

The 79-year-old is on holiday in Croatia despite a divorce from his Croat born wife Slavica Ecclestone two years ago.

Ecclestone surprised locals over the weekend after anchoring his 60-metres-long yacht in the port of Trogir and popping into a local market to buy flowers for his Brazilian girlfriend Fabiana Flosi (29), tabloid 24 Sata reports.

The couple later went cruising around the Croatian islands in the Adriatic.

That beach looks rather crowded and cluttered - you'd think he could do better
As for those black baggy shorts they look more like something made from polyester sold in Asda than 'Billionaire'. And the 'diving prowes' looks like it is about to turn into a 'belly flop'
Surely this can't be the real Signor Briatore?

I wouldn't be surprised if he owns the beach and is charging all those people £500ph for the 'privilege' to be there with him.

Whatever keeps him occupied and away from Loftus Road though is all good.
