Promising Reds 15-year-old makes first-team bow

Liverpool starlet Raheem Sterling became one of the youngest players to wear the famous red shirt when he came on as a substitute in Monchengladbach.
The England Under-16 midfielder, signed from QPR, made his bow in the 82nd minute at the age of 15 years, seven months. Boss Roy Hodgson took him to Germany because he feared the squad would be light on numbers.
“Sterling and Suso (Jesus Fernandez ) were called up and so I wanted to give them a few minutes on the pitch,” said Hodgson
