Notts County are delighted to confirm the appointment of Craig Short as the club's new first team manager, with the former defender signing a three-year contract at Meadow Lane.
Short, who spent last season in charge of Hungarian side Ferencvaros, will be joined in his new role by a Technical Director, who will be confirmed in the position next week, exclusively here on the Official Site.
Former Notts centre-back Short was delighted to have secured a return to Meadow Lane, a club that he spent three years with as a player, making 128 league appearances.

"I'm a little bit shocked to be honest, having seen some of the names that have been linked with the job", explained the former Magpies stalwart.
"I actually rang Derek Pavis a couple of years ago, enquiring about a job here and he gave me the best piece of advice - to go and get some experience.
"I took that on board and whilst I was reluctant to go abroad to gain that experience and it would prove to be the toughest two years of my life, it has paid off because it has brought me to where I am today.
"It's still sinking in a little bit, a lot's changed since I was last at Meadow Lane, but I am delighted that the Chairman is prepared to give a hungry young manager a chance and I feel that I have shown the desire to succeed here.
"If I can enjoy half as much success here as a manager as I did as a player, it's going to be a fantastic time for myself and the club."
Notts Chairman Ray Trew was delighted to have secured the services of Short, seeing the former fans' favourite as the ideal man to lead the club into League One next season.
"In our search for a new manager we have been looking for someone who had Notts County in their heart and as soon as I met Craig it was obvious that he was an ideal candidate," explained Mr Trew.
"We have a fantastic team spirit at Notts and we were looking for someone who could come in and build on this, keeping the momentum of last season going to give us the best possible start to the new campaign.
"Having broken into management at Ferencvaros in Hungary, Craig has already proved that he has the stomach for a challenge and I am delighted that he has agreed to step up to the task of leading Notts into League One."
Short will officially begin work at Meadow Lane on Monday, with his immediate focus being on bringing in the players that can complement the current playing squad ahead of the new campaign.
The club will be holding a press conference on Thursday 10 June at 2pm to present Craig to the media and to unveil the new Technical Director.
