that's 40 odd per week since the early bird discount has gone. At this rate we'll not make 7,000 by kick off...sad really

I wish them luck but I don't know how they're going to do it.
And can't lower prices (without refunding earlier payers)

OK...So it seems we won't make it...And our Season Ticket Sales when we kick off vs Barnsley will be maybe 150 more than a year at the same time. And most of the QPR sales were made prior to June - When Optimism was high QPR Official Site on June 2nd: "... Chairman Ishan Saksena set Rangers fans the target of reaching 9,000 Season Ticket sales by the time of our first League fixture in August, and has offered a five per cent discount to every supporter who contributes towards the figure. It seems R's fans are well on course to exceed that amount by the time the season kicks off in two months' time. "We are delighted with the number of fans who have purchased their Season Ticket already," Saksena told www.qpr.co.uk. "It shows great commitment from supporters and we thank them for that. We are very excited about next season and the fans can make a massive difference." When the 2009/10 campaign kicked off against Blackpool ten months ago, QPR had sold a total of 6,568 Season Tickets. ..."

And as compared to QPR Season Ticket Sales two years ago. (Well it WAS on the Official Site! ) QPR Official Site -
August 2, 2008- SEASON TICKETS SOLD OUTQueens Park Rangers Football Club can confirm that Season Tickets for the forthcoming 2008/09 campaign are now sold out, after the Club successfully reached its target. Phenomenal demand for Season Tickets during the summer has seen thousands of fans secure their seats for the R's quest to return to the Premiership, in the first full season since Flavio Briatore, Bernie Ecclestone and the Mittal Family completed their takeover of the Club. The Club would once again like to thank all the fans for their on-going support, as we embark on what we all hope is a successful season in the Championship.

In the last 12months over here in OZ we have had more illegal boat people arrive on our shores, than membership for QPR. But do they get a free scarf when they arrive? Hold on I haven't got my scarf yet..........
