Atmosphere in our team again? i dont think it was meant like that, it was all very light hearted. i think he was just trying to opint out how he deals with tarbs and the other players. opint = point, sorry it's late and im knackered

Bush I think Lone meant an atmosphere as a good thing as opposed to them playing like they they don't care but instead with a smile on their faces.
I can honestly say I think player power has gone out the window, Warnock has established a great mood within the squad and we are slowly turning the corner.

Marvellous report. Good to see you posting back with us again, You were missed. Is it the new format?
Still, for me what was the best oart of your resume. No sign of the Paladin about, and any decisions he might make would not be about Queens Park Rangers. And frankly Scarlett, I dont give a damn what decisions he makes about anything, Notice how free they were to talk about the absence of academy and scouts as being dreadful. Paladin though not part of this great program, oh joy, oh rapture, oh rapture, oh bliss, when he gets a chance will say. "I kept telling them and they wouldnt listen, On bended knee, I begged them and Senor briatore for these things, they, all of them didnt want this, I was the only one that did."

Legiertwood Didn’t see a lot of love between Legiertwood and NW TBH, Legs spoke in a professional manner but in truth isn’t the greatest of speakers and left me with no doubt that this is not the man to be captaining the club and my instinct is telling me he won’t be next season. let it go ;D

I hope so, it's been lacking since November.

Great report, W12 - thanks - I was hoping someone who posted on a site I frequent (& you can guess which one I dont!!) would post a report as I couldn't make it personally last night (the Jewish Passover got in the way :-( )
I'm thrilled to read that NW's totally impressed with Faurlin - I think, as do most of us I believe, that he should be the linchpin around which the rest of the team is built! And if we get to keep Taarbs that would be awesome - but I'm not holding my breath for that one.
Glad there was good banter between at least AF & NW - wot you've said about Legs doesn't surprise tho Legs did go on record as saying he was thrilled NW had come to QPR coz he'd bought Legs to Sheffield Utd back in the day ...

I haven't mentioned this either yet as I didn't want to detract from the positivity surrounding the evening though I think it is positive. Only my opinion off course but I get the impression Paladini is well and true-ly in the background now.
At last years Platters Evening GP was lurking at the back of the room but he was no where to be seen last night. NW & MJ even managed to crack a couple of tongue in cheek jokes at his expense.
Prior to last nights forum I had doubts over our promotion credentials next season but waking up this morning I am left with no doubt NW is the right man for the job and can take us up next year. This club is going to be run like a proper football club for the first time in very long time. The scouting and youth policy is high on the agenda and the NW. MJ & KC have the full support of the board. NW made a quip about going to Amit and asking him for 3 things (in a financial sense I guess), Amit gave him everything he asked for only for NW to return to him a few days later and say 'you've given me too much'.
NW praised The Mittals on the work they do for the community and couldn't speak more highly enough of their work, but did underline that in football terms they are naive and learning and with his team in place all parties will greatly benefit from the relationship. It sounded like NW is very excited about his relationship with The Mittals and talked about trust and honesty shared which was great to hear.
All I know is NW certainly won me over last night as the man to take this club forward.

I'm going to have to try & get back down to Rangers before the end of the season & then give it a go from next season. I think most people feel that Neil Warnock is a step up for us as a football club & is a "Proper" football manager despite his faults, which is probably exactly what we need as a football club; He needs to galvanise us as a Football Club, help us reclaim our Identity from the scum & the parasites.

w12, You sound very positive, and I hope what you believe comes true! I think the most important thing to remember here that this is only my take on things. I have had very little to feel positive about in while with our club and last night left me feeling refreshed, others may have a different opinion but from what I can see so far I am 1 of 2 posters on MBs who was in attendance last night so I feel its important pass on the positivity from last nights forum. The way I look at NW is he wants to be taken at face value, as an honest man who tells you the way it is, so thats all I have done. Whether he gets it right on the pitch we'd only be second guessing at this stage but IMO I think he will.

Excellent thread W12. Thanks for an excellent write up. Sure as hell is going to be an interesting transfer window in the summer and fantastic news about the scouting system. Seems like Ish and Ami are worlds apart from Briatore and any guilt by association with the past is quickly being assuaged by positive actions across the board. Happy days!

Great thread. Its about time we had some good news! Ive always liked n.w where as most other football fans ive spoke to hate him! There just something about the guy that I like! Maybe its his honesty or his passion or his no b.s straight talk I dont know, but I do know one thing he has made me start to beleave again in my club! Just praying that its not another false dawn again, but some how I dont think so! Maybe a ray of sunshine is smiling down on lofus rd again after the shit storm we have been through lately!

I don't think fans would say we're having a poor run - despite the one win STandard Sarnock's a big hit despite poor run 31.03.10 After five games without a win, Neil Warnock turned on the charm at a Queens Park Rangers supporters' evening. The manager, who took along assistant Mick Jones, captain Mikele Leigertwood and midfielder Alejandro Faurlin, went down well with the audience. Warnock declared his admiration for the play of Adel Taarabt, who has plenty of admirers among the Loftus Road faithful given the number of questions fielded about the midfielder last night. Warnock also praised Faurlin, saying he had the best left foot he'd ever seen. The Argentine grabbed the microphone at one stage to speak with passion about the board, the squad and the fans — in broken English. www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-sport/football/article-23820637-warnocks-a-big-hit-despite-poor-run.do

Possibly not, I like him, always made me laugh, yes copped the arse with some of his rants etc but.... Saw a programme about him on his farm a few years back and he was brilliant.
Will always be Colin though and he'd expect nothing less. ;D

And this W12Ranger Players don't always make great Managers. Forgot to add this yesterday when I posted about the Platinum Evening. NW when discussing his Managerial career and went of on a tangent a bit when discussing why some great players don't make great managers. Highlighting the case of Bryan Robson and presently Gianfranco Zola, NW explained how some players who had outstanding careers have difficulties making the step up to managerial level as successfully because they have little experience of the difficult times in football. Warnock was by no means having a dig at anyone but he used the examples of Robson & Zolas illustrious playing careers to highlight how in management they are unable to draw on experience of the difficult times because during their careers for the teams they played for there really wasn't any. He then went onto make a point of how the likes of himself and Mick Jones had plenty of experience of the challenging times in football and thats why they are still around. Thought this was an interesting discussion...
