Sorry I'm at loss at this suggestion, any reasoning behind this rumour and how would he be good for QPR ?

Cos we're in relegation plunge - and even if Briatore and "he's-not-to-blame-for-anything-wrong" Paladini exited tomorrow, cleaning up the mess will take time.
And that Harford is just not up to the job. And that Warnock is one who could save us. (And maybe there are others who could also, that we could get right away)
Now it's true that we're regressing and that we already have several managers better than Warnock that we axed in recent years. But that's another matter

What we really need is for the players to earn some of their bleedin wages!
Palace would be in the top six without the deduction and play Villa today in the fifth round of the FA cup. Can you remember the fifth round?

Well they've just been deducted 10 points... Look at the resources available to/and money spent by Warnock and compare to QPR I think he comes out pretty well.
Now don't have to like the guy/look his football or even want him at QPR. He's better than Harford. But certainly not the best there is!

It'll be interesting whether he does the big goodbye at the end of the Palace/Villa game today.....Personally I'm not sure that relegation is the end of the world that some think....better the club get right than stays up.

Just remember if we go down, we still have all those expensive long term contracts to pay... And I wonder if our sponsors even bothered to have some kind of exit if QPR went down

And I wonder if our sponsors even bothered to have some kind of exit if QPR wentdown I think we're screwed financial (if we don't have a sugar daddy) whether we stay up or go down. Either the owners will support the club financially and we hope they sort out the structures or they don't and we go bust. The only division that influences that is the Premiership and we're not playing there next season.

Rather than pay compensation for Warnock, let's just bring back Iain Dowie (who we're probably still paying anyway)
