Reading the extract again. I wonder what about the posting did the poster think wouldn't get Sousa in trouble. I say again every time I read it. Why mention that Sousa told him. Why not just say, I have heard from a source that... It's really not difficult. Then to find it was posted on one site ,deleted and then posted on a site that initiated a campaign to get rid of Sousa and is considered to be Paladini's mouthpiece, either smacks of complete incompotence or something much more sinister.
People can scream as much as they want now that they weren't part of the campaign, but without doubt they were part of the problem.

It may have been on Ade's old site although it was removed very quickly. Somebody then subsequently sent me a copy on private e-mail and my first response was that this is so far fetched that it has to be BS in caps. If nothing else I felt it was set-up, designed to get rid of him without having to pay lots in compensation.
Let's not forget that the week leading up to that game, PS had let it be known that the sale of Big Dex to Forest was done without his knowledge. I suspect he committed the cardinal sin of daring to question the wisdom of our mighty Saviour the Lord Flavio Braitore - and had to pay the ultimate price for it.
The timing of this message on a m/b that had a reputation was just too coincidental for me. That's just my view.
Swansea must be laughing themselves to death over that - a case of yet another self induced stuff up by QPR.

Also recalling...QPR Official Site - STATEMENT - RE DEXTER BLACKSTOCK Posted on: Fri 10 Apr 2009 Statement from Eric Walters, the agent of Dexter Blackstock This statement is to clarify the situation regarding Dexter Blackstock and QPR. Dexter was unhappy at QPR for some time, as he had only started six of a possible 21 fixtures. He wasn't even on the bench for QPR's home fixture against Bristol City and seeing as he was the Club's top goalscorer, Dexter was unhappy about this situation. MPU A few Clubs approached me for Dexter, including Nottingham Forest. I spoke with Gianni Paladini and he advised me that we needed to clear this with Paulo Sousa. Paulo came back from Portugal on March 26th at lunchtime. Dexter discussed the situation with Paulo, and he didn't say anything to Dexter about the possibility of him staying with QPR. At 4.00pm on March 26th 2009, Dexter signed the paperwork to complete his loan transfer to Nottingham Forest. Eric Walters www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~1623337,00.html

Yeah there were quite a few sides to the story.
The story that I remember is that Sousa got back he was informed that Dex had already been sold or was on the verge of being sold - so the meeting with the agent was a pointless exercise. Paladini & Briatore had already made the decision that DB was off so what could he tell the agent?
There seemed to be a lot of controversy about the word informed. Some took it that PS was informed that he was going - while others insist he was informed of the possibility and it was up to him (PS) to make the final decision.
I have never understood PS's reluctance to play Big Dex, but that said, I do not believe that PS would have gone public with his statement that the DB deal was done while he was away, and without informing him, unless it was true.
Considering that GP was all but decalred a liar by a high court judge during the gunfight trial and considering that he seems to have built up a power base at QPR that was built on lies - I know who to believe and who not to.
