Steve Burtenshaw was not our manager in 1974? He wasn't? How embarassing that must be! Ok... I guess you - or someone should pop down to the Training ground and whisper in his ear "Gianni, can we take back that award we gave you..."

On the other hand: The competition probably should remain open, just in case there's anything else there.

Do you know where that "award" originated from?
I presume Paladini didn't do it for himself.

It was "The Fans" - I know one of thef people involved (because I got a request for some info and of course I've always been happy to help) From Nico's photos of the 2008 Player of Year Dinner www.pbase.com/nickdemarco/qpr_player_of_the_year_party_2008"Fans present special award to Gianni " (Not to be confused with: "Gianni Receives Special Award from QPR for Saving The Club"

Who's the hottie on the right?? Wasn't Burtenshaw just a coach here around that time and then later in 1977 became manager?? I'm sure he was here twice.

That's right, Burtenshaw briefly was QPR coach under Gordon Jago after Bobby Campbell betrayed QPR and moved to Arsenal... And then he became manager succeeding Frank Sibley - and taking us down!
