10 Years Ago...QPR Vs WBA with Magilton Suspended over alleged "Incident" with Akos Buzsaky.
Always thought John Gorman acted very honourably by refusing to step in.
And Hart and Harford reported to be the successors "if" Magilton axed
Supposedly "Investigation" Results Within 48 Hours - As if....
And if it really Hart and Harford...I mean come on

Late goal thwarts defiant Rangers

West Brom 2-2 QPR
Rangers say they expect to announce the findings of their internal inquiry into Headbuttgate in the next 48 hours.
Given that suspended managers seldom return from gardening leave to resume their duties, the odds do not favour Jim Magilton making a quiet return to the fold, although normal rules do not seem to apply to troubled Hoops.
As if to prove the point, the Rs gave a performance full of bloody-minded resolve that did was made in the image of caretaker boss Marc Bircham – a man who liked nothing better than to roll up his sleeves in a battle against the odds.
How else to explain this tale of the unexpected which would have been closer to inspiring high-fives rather than alleged head butts in the dressing room.
This was the day Rangers were supposed to signal a quiet withdrawal from the promotion race after last week's implosion at Watford. Instead, they gave promotion favourites Albion a bloody nose and came within seconds of an unlikely win.
Two goals in the space of seven minutes at the start of the second half almost did the trick for Rangers - an own goal and a Kaspars Gorkss header the catalyst for a thrilling second half.
But Jerome Thomas pulled a goal back for the home side and Rangers were hanging on for dear life by the end until Radek Cerny – who made countless saves throughout – was beaten by a Simon Cox volley in injury time after the Rs keeper had kept out a piledriver from sub Chris Woods.
Bircham and his co-caretaker Steve Gallen made no apologies for sending out a conservative formation with which to stifle high-riding Albion – the aim being to use the pace of lone striker Patrick Agyemang in front of a quartet of midfielders, with Adel Taarabt, playing in the hole.
And it worked a treat during a largely even first half.
Albion upped the tempo after the break and Brunt sent in a fierce low drive from outside the area that Cerny was lucky to have cleared up for him after he had spilled the effort.
But on 55 minutes, the action switched to the other end and a Ben Watson corner arrowed perfectly into the top corner of the net off the head of defender Jonas Olsson, under pressure from Kaspars Gorkss.
Moments later, a blistering left footer from Taarabt rattled the crossbar via the hand of Kiely –By and large, Rangers contained well and grew in confidence, with only the pace of former winger Thomas a cause for concern in the first half. and it would have been in without that crucial intervention.
But on 62 minutes, it was 2-0, Gorkss following up to nod home from close range after Kiely could only palm out a Ben Watson free-kick hit low and hard that bounced just in front of him.
Five minutes on and Thomas pulled a goal back, bludgeoning in after Cox had had an initial effort blocked.
Rangers were soon back on the attack, appetite undimmed by the setback.Routledge cut in from the right flank before sending in a left foot curler that Kiely did well to turn aside.
But soon it was all hands to the pump. Zuiverloon sent a dipping header onto a post and Cerny spilled a low cross inches from Thomas to raise palpitations before somehow keeping out a Cox volley that was hit with force towards the top corner.
Cerny's distribution looked faulty in the first half. Two stray kicks and a misdirected throw had the Rs on the back foot and the stopper requested a personal time out to get his left ankle bandaged – suggesting an injury had been hindering his kicking.
But he looked more on the money when he blocked a shot from Thomas inside the area after Luke Moore had poked the ball on after a challenge from Damion Stewart and he was rarely out of the action
Line up:Cerny; Ramage, Stewart, Gorkss, Williams; Routledge, Leigertwood, Watson, Taarabt (Faurlin 82); Simpson (Hall 90), Agyemang (Pellicori 85). Subs not used: Taylor, Vin.e, Alberti, Parker. Attendance: 21,565
