Made hard work of that in the second half. On Saturday every substitution helped, tonight every substitution weakened us. But with all these games, that is rotation for you.

Nervy at the end, but 3 points is 3 points and we’ll take them however and whenever they come.
Big one on Friday night now.

A good 3 points tonight. But with every game i get more worried about our defence, MW really needs to rule the roost over these youngsters. Hamalainen gifted that second goal to them, and come January we need to tighten that up.

Good win that but then again, every win is a good win
Table looks healthier with us 13th. Only a Cardiff win tomorrow will change that.

We needed a win. Defence should begin to look a bit better when Dickie's back.
BOS looks like he's playing to get noticed...

BOS looks like he's playing to get noticed... Sometimes it’s not surprising he wants away, the times he has opened up defences and laid on opportunities for his colleagues only to see them wasted. We should have had 4 or 5 in that first half, so he showed them how it should be done with that super goal

I thought we played well in the first half, but we made very hard work of the second period. Especially after Willock went off. We allowed Rotherham to dictate the play & it wasn't helped with Bonne being continuall offside. That made it easy for Rotherham to launch the ball forward again. I don;'t like Cameron as a player, but even I would have preferred him to still be on the pitch to help weather the bombardment.

Bright was a real handful last night and with a tad more luck would have had a first half hat trick. He is playing as if he is in the shop window, and I cannot blame him for that, and good if we benefit from it, albeit only a short term gain. The only issue is whether or not a club offers a discounted price for January or waits until the Summer on a pre-contract. His agent will control the whole process. He is ofski though. I like Willock and I also liked Thomas pre injury. Bonne though frustrates me. Off-side is only one part of it, his game seems very naive. He has scored two important goals for us, but so much of the time he seems to be acting dumb. I hope that he responds to coaching, but last night, Willock's chasing back really helped Hamalainen, but Bonne was so late that he needn't have bothered most of the time. I was hoping that Kelman would get a run out ahead of Bonne. It was also interesting that Ton Carroll was a star player against Watford, yet the game was played over his head yesterday. I think though that had Dickie been available, it would have been very different. Rotherham's tactic of hitting Michael Smith with long balls would have been easy for Dickie (his biggest strength) and Smith had not scored since February before last night. After such a great first half, I was disappointed that we had little answer to Rotherham's second half adjustments and that our substitutions played into their hands - although I accept the need for rotation and rest.

6 points off the playoff places and 8 points above the relegation positions. Mid table again.
