I see Dave Thomas is in the club shop tomorrow before the Middlesborough game signing copies of his new book.
All profits from book going to Guide Dogs for the Blind.
I hope he gets plenty of supporters buying the book as he is a QPR legend from the 75-76 team.

Socks rolled down and minus shin pads, Dave Thomas was the winger Don Revie once referred to as 'the most exciting prospect in British soccer.' Dave's speed and crossing ability entertained fans of Burnley, QPR, Everton, Wolves, Vancouver Whitecaps, Middlesbrough and Portsmouth. After a fascinating career which included eight England caps, Dave lost a good deal of his confidence and independence when he was registered blind in his 50s. This is the uplifting and emotional story of how he regained control over his life again when paired with his faithful guide dog, Hannah.

Did anyone else take the opportunity to meet our finest ever winger and Hannah (his guide dog)? It was clear from his half time appearance that the guide dog has changed his life. Great to see all the copies sell out - for those who didn't manage to get a copy the publisher will send a copy out direct.

That halftime speech was extremely emotional. He didn't need to thank fans, fans needed to thank him. His skill was entertaining and played a major part in a QPR side that was awesome. Oh and all proceeds from his book are going to the guide dogs organisation. Legend is an understatement for this man.
