Looks like Kelly had a good match. Afraid not, had little to do but pick the ball out of the net twice,at fault for both goals.

Looks like Kelly had a good match. Afraid not, had little to do but pick the ball out of the net twice,at fault for both goals. Yeah I don't want to batter the guy but I think his positioning was off for both. Didn't need to be that far off his line for the first goal (good as it was). Second one was everything I was taught not to do when I used to play in goal. If your defender is putting the striker under pressure and the striker is not at risk of losing the ball, you narrow the angle but do not charge out. Charging out leaves a gap and makes the striker's decision for him. You leave him be, and he has a shot under pressure and as a keeper, you're ready and set, in a good position. Come out, and the striker is forced to shoot, but with more empty net to aim at. It can work if he panics, but it reduces your own odds. To be fair, you just need to look at Leistner's reaction to know it wasn't right, he was fuming. Anyway, 3 points etc.

Two very entertaining penalties - but we do need to educate our players not to follow up too soon. Shame to score another one and have is disallowed for encroachment. Having said that, Hull players were also well advanced. Sure to happen though when the penalty taker pauses like that. I was surprised that he hesitated both times, but the keeper was in a no win situation.

From above posts looks like we have a Keeper problem. Both Kelly and Lumley are underachieving. Need Reg Allens ghost to come back. Or more appropriately a great goalkeeper coach.
