Nice one, no drama . No course not Bow. It wasn’t the best phrased word “Funny” point taken. Like you say we do have four points more than at the same stage as last year and our first four fixtures on paper were not that easy. It does grind on me sometimes though with the amount of possession and chances we get in games yet come away with nothing.

I mean, anything that means we dont have to relive the start of last season, bloody hell. I think that trip to West Brom has scarred me for life. And yeah, I think losing when you've had the lion's share of the ball is always going to feel more frustrating. When we get humped, we get humped, but dominating always leaves you with loads of 'what ifs'.

I've not been able to comment since the game, but here goes.
There was so much to like about Wednesday! The football played by both sides was very good & far better than half of the Premier clubs could produce.
However, we failed to convert more than one of the many chances we created & we made two horrible mistakes that gave Swansea their first two goals. On the other hand, Swansea defended their penalty area very well, which they needed to do. We roasted Roberts & Bidwell, but the cover they received was exceptionasl. We do need to be a bit less open defensively than we were!
BOS was his usual enigma (is that the correct word?). His ability to go past defenders is not in doubt, but his final ball/decision making is still a long way from what is required. His temprement can also be questioned as this is the third league game running he has been cautioned for retaliation & all three may have been a sending off. Wednesday's came after his indignation when he wasn't fouled, but was the least threatening challenge by him! I really hope that these aspects of his play don't stop his career developing to match his ability .
I will freely admit that I was excited by the signing of Smith & Amos, but so far it is our own youngsters that are performing. Chair wasn't quite as dominant as he was against Huddersfield, but his class is there for all to see. Ryan Manning improves with every match & must be very close to a fukll international call up.
We then come to Eze. For all of those that call hiom lazy, look at his defending against Swansea. He won quite a few balls in our own penalty area & his ball control, movement & passing were brilliant. IMO he very nearly deserved a 10 for that performance!
Of course, the result was very disappointing, but I could put up with this level of entertainment any day. And continue to perform like that & the results will follow!

4 games in and some fans are already panicking. We won at Stoke and people complained we did not play that well. We played well by all reports against Swansea but gave the game away and the signs of panic from the usual suspects are there to see. That's football. If anyone really wants to be down just look at the England test match batting - our first team could pull on their whites and do better I’m on holiday in Malta at the moment, but wasn’t it 68 all out or something silly like that?

Yeah 12 highest score, 67. Looking like we will need 300 to win and even with 3 days left on that wicket very unlikely. But you never know. Enjoy hols

Did they win then? Didn’t follow the news or watch any TV at all in Malta. Only got back this afternoon. Cricket not really a big thing in Malta.

Well Stokes won put it that way Nomar and the Aussies did everything they could to help us including a drop catch and bad stumping miss and the umpire should have gave him out but didn’t but they wasted a review. It was a game the Aussies would and should have won five times over but that’s cricket. At the minute if Root fell in sh1t he would come out smelling of roses with all the decisions going his way in the World Cup final and this match and the amount of tosses he wins.
