He must be one of the richest failures of the Prem. Him and his 2 assistants pick up payoff after payoff and the phone will soon ring for another managerial position. He was arrogant as a player, but has taken it to new heights as a manager. He of course interviewed our board for the QPR job - not the other way round. He then usually reacts that the club has been foolish in their decision. But the real test is that the fans are always delighted with his exit. Happy that we have moved on to the Holloways and McClarens of this world, but we have had some big egos at our club haven't we?

Apparently the first manager to be sacked by two Prem clubs in a calendar year

When he was appointed I worked with a rabid Man City fan (he had been through the Shaun Goater years) and he said he'd relegate us while refusing to explain why. I was pretty surprised as he hadn't seemed to have got City into problems but he was adamant if not malicious. He was proved right but I'd still like to know what he knew then

Soton had a rwo goal lead. Sat, at home, and had to settle for a draw.
Charlie Austin has played 6 games only and scored no goals.
