Very true Andrew. Played all 11 above us now. Only beaten 11 th. Not managed to beat any of the top 10. In the Prem, we used to be scared of the top teams and didnt turn up. Now a League lower we just arent good enough to beat them sadly. Still, it is what it is. Lets get 50 points on the board, clear out a few and move on. But who do we buy, players like Luongo and Chery I would say but we dont even play them now,so whats the formula then. I assume Luongo and Chery are not doing enough in training mate Really? Whenever they have started they look the best two players on the pitch Austin apart. Theres no way in a million years I would start Smithies in front of Rob Green. I know he has only played 1 or 2 games but looked a worry in every minute he has played as far as im concerned. Rory is right about not signing the Southend keeper. Much the better option.

Right, here we go.
Firstly, I have seen a lot worse games than yesterday, but neither side could be called good. I suffer from bias, but Queens Park Rangers were the better side & I never felt that we would concede a goal. It was an average match betweeen two mid table Championship teams. Forget that Ipswich are 6th, it could be that mid table goes as high as that this season!
Polter? A complete mixture! He did a few things really well, including his work for the goal. He also did a few things poorly (sometimes very!). He is very raw, a bit like Andy McCullough(sp), but I would prefer to see him playing than JET. I accept that says a lot more about my feelings towards the latter!
I am struggling to understand the substitutions yesterday. Bringing on Sandro & playing him in the "number ten" role rather than changing to a central three to protect our lead. Now, I have little problems with rejecting the defensive approach, but Chery would have been a lot better suited to the role.
What has happened to Junior? He wasn't just our best player, he was the best player on the pitch (easily)! He is playing with confidence & with a smile on his face. He also has a great leap in him.
Guess what the worst part of Ale Faurlin was? His distribution! It was a day when he was looking for the killer ball rather than the simple pass. However, the amount of challenges he won was incredible. How he wins so many headers is beyond my understanding!
Living in Ipswich, this was the most important game of the season for me. The place I least want to lose at. However, I'm quite relaxed about it. A mid table performance by a mid table team. What more should we expect?
Finally, I touch on a player who I so hope leaves in January! I thought that yesterday was one of Fer's better games for us. He contributed more than usual & raised his gears to above the strolling setting. IF he had converted his chance to make it 2-0 (as he should have done) the match would have been over!

We won't go down and we won't go up.
Not much else to it really.
I don't know what else to say as I find what's happening in the Premier League at the moment far more interesting than this nonsense.
I really don't care who goes up or down from this division. We'll get enough points to stay up. JFH will buy a load of players in the summer if he's still here.
Cycle goes on.
I can't be arsed getting worked up about our results at the moment If this team suddenly pulls a Reading from a few seasons ago when they came from nowhere to put a winning run together and got promoted automatically then I'd be more engaged.
But right now its all meh. We'll win some and lose some and draw a lot.
It is what it is.

Just wish our egotistic board would see it the same way and stick with the rebuilding strategy that they have so readily abandoned.
