And, would it have changed the result?

Not sure but two things are slightly annoying me at the minute. No Striker being used and so when Chances fall to midfielders they are not buried. Why isnt Chery playing unless he has a knock I think this is beyond stupidity.

Hard to disagree with either of those point H, although, for me, Luongo not playing is even harder to understand, he was at the heart of everything good in the early part of the season. As for the Warnock question, I'd think that a serious illness in his family would easily be a strong enough reason for him not to travel to Middlesbrough, and I'd fully concur with his decision if this is the case.

I also think, a front office, clash, between Ferdinand and Fernandes about hiring Warnock?

My only guess is Chery has a slight knock Roller or is it something to do with the disciplinary thing re the Fulham game ? I would of thought though a team crying out for goals and a bit of extra creativity should be using him ? I havnt heard of the exact reason other than a family reason NW wasnt at the game but it would be something major to keep him away from a game for sure.

As did Polter. My guess is that either Warnock doesn't rate him or he is trying to establish a solidity and style of play before re-introducing him to first team action. It is not as if Warnock doesn't appreciate skillful players, is it?

I think your onto something re the solidity, as we know a big fan of Tarbs so wouldnt really make sense not liking a flair type player.

Warnock was watching game, giving phone messages to a runner. He couldn't have been that laid up? Anyway, no one knows, all I remember when we had to defend a draw, he would always tighten up the defenses and really mange that crucial part of game. Look what happened to Watford today.

Trouble is is that the Aussie player is better than most of the English and other european players in our squad.

Trouble is is that the Aussie player is better than most of the English and other european players in our squad. I would much rather Luongo or Chery start or at least come on in games as subs. Having Tozser coming on is like going down to 10 men, can hardly even cross a ball.

Fer's red card means Luongo will start next game IMO

Cant be clutching at straws. We did not lose because Warnock was absent. If he was there, Fer would still have handled the ball.

I can reveal the reason Warnock wasn't at Boro...
He was in Portugal with a Playstation, a box of Dunkin' Donuts, some pies and a crate of ale to try and persuade his wayward favourite son, Adel Taraabt, to come back to Loftus Road in the January window.
Neil is also recruiting Paddy Kenny back into the squad (the real reason Paddy terminated his contract with Bury) so that Adel wouldn't be the fattest player in the team.

Trouble is is that the Aussie player is better than most of the English and other european players in our squad. Probably true - just brings me back to my pet hate of the seemingly endless international breaks. How many weeks break have we had already and only a third of the season gone?. We had the same last year with the Chilean pair.
If we must have these international breaks I would like to see the last internationals moved forward a couple of days or the next league games moved a couple of days to allow the long distance travellers to return and be fit to play for their clubs instead of being jet lagged or exhausted. Its difficult enough keeping a settled line up without this on top.
Still I think Luongo and Chery will both feature against Leeds unless Chery has said or done something really stupid we do not know about.
Thing is 57. Its just another excuse for players these days to not perform. I am tired clap trap. A fit healthy young man should have no problems travelling to Australia or where ever they are playing, come back to England have the proper rest then be good to go for his club. Tim Cahill a proper pro seemed to cope fine with that when he played in the Prem. Messi, Neymar, Suarez trapes all over the world but are still winners. That is because they are strong of mind and body.

I can agree with most of that but as I kknow from personal experience if you leave Australia on a Thursday to fly back to London and then up to Middlesborough for a night game on Friday it is almost impossible to be fully fit physically but more importantly in concentration with even the mildest form of jet lag. Plus they are turning up to join the squad without being involved in any of the pre match training and development of plans for the game. Sure they can play but how effective can they be. I would have brought Luongo on as the sub for Ale or Fer who was not so effective. I am sure the medical people at the club would asses his fitness before travelling to boro to make sure he is ok to at least be on the bench. As I say Cahill used to cope just fine, and others as well like Kewell and Viduka. Can't really see it having that much effect over the course of a season. Agree he should have come on as a sub, poor choice to have left him on the bench.

No knocks that I know of. Also interesting to note that while he was playing (ie the first half) Australia scored 4 goals to none in the second half!

From what Ive seen of Loungo and Chery should both start every game. Our best two signings of the Summer with Hall and deserve to start every game IMO. Players like that are the future of QPR. Maybe we can stop playing that Tozser for a bit.

I do not think being physically tired is the main problem - it is being mentally tired from the time changes that get to people - some more then others. In football people cannot switch off for a second (as we proved in injury time at boro) so having even a mild case of jet lag creates a risk. The PL clubs all cry and complain if they have to play a game on Saturday lunch time if they have played in Europe on Wednesday - I think that is a bit over the top but can see the point about preparation time between games when they the travel as well. Like I say ready made modern day excuses do not cut the mustard with me. These things usually separate the winners from the losers or men from the boys.

Luongo is a crap player and also I went straight on the piss from a flight to Melbourne when I landed. No excuse.

So back to the op - 5 reasons 1. Warnock was in Portugal as stated nuts deep in Adel trying to get him back on loan. 2. He was stuck at home on his zx Spectrum trying to reply to all the e-mails as he said he would 3. He's from Yorkshire so lies a lot any way. 4. He couldnt be arsed after seeing and woking with our players for 2 weeks. He's suffering depression and knows how Ramsey felt. 5. Les is the leader of the new Black Panther movement (London Division) and only wants positions of power at th club for non-white people, hence the axing of Warnock. Blackwell survived by the skin of his teeth because of his name ! Choose any of the above. No it wouldnt of made a diffrence as he'd still of hand balled it. (edit- the post was obviously not meant to offend anyone and is said in jest. Being of mixed race myself )!
