Ramsey didn't use the Chileans. Theres no way to make sense of what happened last season. Bad nightmare, mercifully ended.

Why would he even think twice about coming back to W12, when Ramsey played Furlong ahead of him.
I remember a discussion with Fabs last season when this happened, who was insisting he was injured, when he wasn't.

He played Furlong in 2 games when Isla was injured (ankle IIRC), do you have information to the contrary?

I cant be arsed looking for the thread but I remember one game V Arsenal, Furlong played and Isla was on the bench, so he was no out injured.

Lots of possibilities But I guess you'll only consider the ones where Ramsey or Ferdinand can be blamed.

I think Ramsey gave Furlong the nod over Isla as part of his strategy to blood his best young players.....until he got found out that is at Arsenal and then tragically at Palace! Still pretty sure Isla was only out for 1 game injured...but if memory serves Ramsey kept toying with his formations at the back trying to work out his best option. But Vargas is a real shame, what a waste of potential...HR seemed to like and play him but never in his preferred position, but.....he didn't get a look in with Ramsey for 2 months (Wright Phillips did though!)and then when he did at that great win at West Brom he picked up a serious knee injury and out for the remainder of the season!! Allegedly Arsenal now talking to Napoli about buying him to play alongside Sanchez....talking about £11 Million football-talk.co.uk/103997/arsenal-in-talks-over-11m-deal-for-copa-america-star
