He must believe , then , that we will beat Liverpool, and Manchester City. He needs to increase his dose of Lithium, it seems to me.

Isn't the definition of madness continually making appalling decisions but expecting different outcomes! Tony,I admire your generous spirit but unless you take a firm grip of everything in this club right now please don't expect a different outcome.

A year from now when I retweet this (which I'll do whether Fernandes is proven right or wrong), I'll then get jumped on for being negative!

What I'm interested in is are there ANY fans left here now who actually still think we'll stay up? Of course if someone on here posted they think we'll stay up I wouldn't expect you guys to jump down their throat quite so quickly, as delusional as they may be! Of course I've thought we'd go down from the start call it negative, realist, glass half empty, whatever.

My guess is we will be relegated after we lose to City. How ironic we lost a few yrs ago to them and stayed up.
Would not be at all surprised Leics getting a point off Chelsea and Hull getting a point off Liverpool this week.
Fernandes is on another planet, anyone that stuck with Redknapp and listened to his constant excuses and bullshit has to be.

I'll have a pint of what he's drinking. After West Ham at home on Saturday, too many errors, glaring weakness in some key positions and no luck whatsoever; I'm afraid it will take a miracle.

Funny blue. When I looked at our pre season predictions, only a handful thought we would be relegated, led by Gramps, and Timewaster. 17th was popular also.
But as so many have said and observed, what we see on the field doesn't warrant confidence that this team can be competitive over a whole season in the Premier League. My cousin, who lives in Ruislip and
is a Watford fan, is not so sure he is happy about them being promoted. When I talked to him a year ago when we visited, I asked him why Watford, and you recall that they had been up and down twice in 2
seasons,, why that happened, he replied, "We were just not strong enough for that league." Ditto for us.

Just the last sentence was a bit doo-lally. The rest of the tweet made sense. Maybe "we will fight to the last" would have been a better sign off.

I can't ever remember seeing a more transparent season media wise run by the club and reading so many fans critically analyzing the game so frequently but delusional & gullible Tony (is sad to say) reminds me of the Harry Enfield greatest characters 'Tim nice but Dim '.

He did this last time, when there was absolutely no chance we would stay up. It was until the Reading game, when they were officially relegated for it to finally sink in. Hopefully this is just staying positive and not wanting to hang his head in front of the players, hoping they will keep fighting. We will see where the player's hearts are when they play Man City. I have a bad feeling it will just be Barton running around like a mad man and nearly everyone else aimlessly walking around the pitch. Might even see Austin eating a pie while in the match.

I think he's just putting off the FFP boys for another week Stupid comment, some lessons learnt but most just keep on going and going like an Andrex bog roll. Three seasons in the Prem out of four and barely got out of 17 th place apart from the start when Warnock had us upto about 12 th -13 th for a week or two. It was never going to be easy but we make fundamental mistakes. We have failed all season to get the defence in order. Most coaches start at the back and work upwards, we leaked goals. The players have probably cost more since 2011-12, the staff has increased, the wages probably increased but in terms of performances there still bang average. Only have two points more than the pathetic Hughes / Redknapp effort of a season. We have chucked 10 points away for not concentrating until the final minute or Redknapp forgetting he can use subs to waste time. Liverpool, Swansea,Southampton, Chelsea to name a few . You cant really blame two penalty misses on Charlie as he has been top draw . Another good performer was Barton but his crazy antics meant Hull got three points more than us, we would be one point behind them now if we even drew the game. Then course he was banned for another three when Fer was out, this cost us more points. A way to some is up is we huff and puff all year long, create chances never take then the other teams get into the match and take the points. Thats us all over in this League.

Ramsey, as reported by Guardian,
“We need to win two of the four games left and probably draw another,” Ramsey said. On the face of it, seven points from 12 would appear moderately achievable – but then you look at their next two fixtures. A trip to Anfield is followed by a visit to Manchester City. As Ramsey said, they are cup finalsprognosis.
“We need to win two of the four games left and probably draw another,” Ramsey said. On the face of it, seven points from 12 would appear moderately achievable – but then you look at their next two fixtures. A trip to Anfield is followed by a visit to Manchester City. As Ramsey said, they are cup finals but only six points can be earned after that. It is now or never for the west London club.
“They are going to be difficult games,” the manager added. “We have to approach them in the same way we have approached games against other big teams. We’ve held our own against other big teams in the division but,” he conceded, “you end up where you are because of a lack of quality.”
It was a lack of finishing ability that cost them against West Ham United. Much of the consternation was concentrated on Charlie Austin after his 23rd-minute penalty, driven low and hard down the middle, was saved by Adrián but QPR had several decent chances after that to steal a winner. “He’s very disappointed,” Ramsey said of Austin, whose 17 goals have kept QPR in with a fighting chance. “Goalscorers put themselves up any time there is an opportunity to score a goal and he has scored most of his penalties. We wouldn’t have given it to anybody else.” Ramsey also confirmed Austin will take the next one – if there is one to take, of course.
When you consider West Ham’s run – they now have one win in 13 – a point represented a missed opportunity and you would have been easily mistaken for thinking it was a defeat, such was the morose atmosphere at full time. However, Ramsey has no option but to look forward. Livelihoods, including, one would imagine, his own, depend on the coming weeks.

One can crazy trying to do the permutations. But basically we're 4 points behind having played one more game... So...
I'm far from sure that 7 points will be enough (or that we're going to get those points)
