Given that we needed 3 points and they were there for the taking, why were the players 'wasting time'.
Matthew Philips just 'strolled' when he went to take a corner (and he wasn't the only culprit) There seemed no urgency at all.
Why?
Given that the players could hardly stand without slipping, it had poured with rain in the morning, what on earth were we doing watering the pitch at half time?
Why?

Completely agree with this post, under the circumstances you would hope/expect to see players sprinting to retrieve the ball when it was a corner or a free kick.
I was getting pretty apoplectic about it, obviously some of the players are not as passionate as us fans, as a caveat I would add that, for all Bartons faults it does really seem to matter to that guy.

got to agree about Joey- love or loathe- he does put a shift in 3rd thing i didn't understand today... our tactics, especially half way through second half. they weren't up to much, why not use the 3rd sub and have a go at them. put another attacking option on- Adel or Nico? we weren't really going for broke and 3 points... so it might have made a difference

Perhaps Ramsey knows what is going on behind the scenes and is trying to do himself out of a job and get paid off by the owners?

Wasnt the performance I was hoping for . 11 away games without a win at one stage, and not won a single london derby, pathetic, we deserved to go down. Not convinced Ramsey is the man to get us out the Championship but I guess Les will decide, he decides everything else.

Woeful tactics , we are down and I'm sure Liverpool will finally put us out of our misery next week , should've gone all out attack after half time . Phillips didn't once go past their left back in the second half . Will go down as before , bottom , deservedly so . Ramsey is not our dream manager , had our chance to get Sherwood and we blew it . We will probably get Allardyce next season who at least knows how to get teams out of the championship , trouble is that's getting harder every season .

Wrong Team. That Team was OK for Chelsea if you are going for a Point. We should have played 4 3 3 with a bit of flare I can not understand Ramsey's thinking? are we now going all out attack vs Liverpool and Man City? we may as well "I Bloody hope so" Come on UuuuuRrrrrrSsssssssss

Ramseys approach was negative & I've seen enough tactically of him to know he's not the right man at this level or below, good training coach imo. Looking at the team all the names looked like the players picked the team but tactically starting 4 center backs will always cause problems in trying to change into a attacking system of play as you have to sub fullbacks in leaving 1 attacking player only to go into mid / forward.

Despite some of his bad decisions in the heat of the moment, I am really going to miss that guy. You can tell he truly cares and wants to keep this team up. I would say the same of a lot of the players today really, Henry has been great this season, Hill still gives everything he can, Dunne as well, Zamora has been solid all season and was today, Fer has been great since playing under Ramsey and Onouha should have been starting since day 1, just not at RB. I think there were two major problems in this match, too many defensive midfielders(should have subbed Sandro out for Niko in the 2nd half), and Austin completely failing us today. Phillips wasn't at his best, but I have to say Cresswell did an impressive job of defending him.

Agree that Clint Hill is a passionate stalwart but he lacks pace and his distribution is poor. Henry for me was one of the few players that tried to get the ball down and play yesterday and is to be commended as, again, he seems a good pro.
Surprised we didn't play Isla and Yun, formation and tactics looked negative given our predicament.
Whatever happens the QPR deck is going to be heavily shuffled again next season.

I doubt that Yun, just back from injury, had 90 minutes in his legs. It may well have always been the plan to bring him on early in the second half. I can understand Isla not playing as West Ham usually play with width and get crosses in, stopping them is not Isla's forte. Fer could barely manage the 20 minutes he was on the field for, Kranjcar and Taarabt would have been the same, although Kranjcar was warming up for a long, long time but didn't come on, that was strange. Perhaps someone picked up a knock and was unsure about finishing the match. We seem to have limited options in all areas.

I blame arry as much as Ramsey and his poor tactics. the defence was clearly not up to the premier league from the moment the play off final was won. Should have been a priority along with another striker to help Austin.
On Ramsey nice bloke not premier league standard manager. We may as well as played SWP, not everyones cup of tea but what the heck everything else has failed, may as well roll the dice see what happens. Got to go all out attack from now, if we get thrashed it don't really matter now does it.
