Palarse destroyed West ham, do we think palarse are safe ? West brom winning at half time... I'm struggling to find 3 teams worse than us at the moment. At least villa are losing.

Yes, Villa losing at Newcastle is the only match going how we'd like at the moment, plenty of time to go though. I did notice that Dean Parrett scored for Stevenage earlier.

Forget about WBA, Pulis will keep them up. The important thing is that the 4 teams around us all lost and we're still 17th despite not playing.

Tough games coming up we need to try and keep a decent (!) goal difference as it could be very important the way things are looking.

Results could not have gone better, still out of the bottom three without playing, now we have a chance to pull further away by beating Arsenole Wed

Not a bad set of results - need to get something on Wednesday...
Realistically we have a 50-50 chance of staying up, one of 6 teams in the mix.

Happy with that tonight. Blank weekend and still ending it out of the bottom 3 is happy days for me.
I reckon its in our hands now. Villa look beaten already and a lot their fans think their heads have gone.
Just got to pick up some points now and drag Sunderland into this as well.

Great Villa lost that second game under sherwood . Tuesday thay are Home to WBA , hopefully Pulis can get a point there. Sunderland v Hull is a crap game for us . Can't see Burnley getting anything at Liverpool or Leicester getting anything at Man City Come on Pulis don't let us down

It's great that other results are going in our favour but if we are to stay up, we can't rely on that we need to get points ourselves, starting on Wed.

Or four wins, two draws and and 6 defeats. Home wins will probably keep us up. Hughes managed five consecutive home wins ,Spurs,Arsenal , Liverpool , Swansea I think plus another Stoke? If we can get a point or two from Arsenal , Spurs great but the pivotal ones we may have to win 3-4 from these five. EVERTON , NEWCASTLE , WEST HAM. home . something from Villa and hopefully if Leicester are already down when we play them something at Leicester But it will probably be there last game in the Prem and will be up for trying to send us down.

I'm always wary of playing teams with nothing left to play for. They're under no pressure and they can just relax and play football. I can't help but think that, ad we played that infamous game at the Etihad and City didn't have anything to play for, we would have got a right royal stuffing.

Very envious watching Wembley fill up for the Capital One Cup Final. Lots of happy memories from last May, I want to go back there. Maybe we can take this competition seriously next season?

Roller thats always tough to do when you run into mighty Burton Albion in our first game. We never stood a chance. I fear that (if we stay up) its always going to be a relegation scrap for us and we'll never get the chance to make a cup run because we need to "focus" on staying up.
