Over 200 attended the service to pay their last respects to John. Mark Lazarus was also in attendance adding the Rangers feel John would have loved. Personally it was an honour to have attended and bid a fond farewell to an old R.

Thanks Bushy. He'll be missed.
If he's looking down at us, he'll be ecstatic Arry's gone. He never wanted him here and he called it spot on. He has every right to say "I told you" Top Man, knew his stuff!

Difficult time for Maureen as you can imagine Andy, I'm sure she would love to hear from you mate. John had requested that this be played as he left the church.

What an excellent choice. Gonna tell my wife so if I pop my clogs first, she knows what to play - that and Shine on You Crazy Diamond.
Reading your reply and having just read the Neil Roberts reminder has gotten to me.

Hi everyone, I generally post on dot.org but felt it necessary just to pop over.
My wife and I published the ebook version of John's book some time ago and at his request all the profits went to the Tiger Cubs / QPR in the community. Just so everyone is aware, this will continue to be the case, (including our publishers cut) for ever.
If anyone is able to put me in touch with his family, I would like to reprint the paperback version so we can get it sold in the club superstore and other 'real' bookshops. Same deal. ALL profits back to Tigercubs / Community. A fitting lasting legacy I hope you'll agree?

Just to report that I have received a very nice letter from Gramps' wife Margaret, thanking us on behalf of the whole family for the QPR Report card. I'd sent them two A3 sized cards and Margaret has made 12 further copies for family members. One of their grandsons is a picture framer and has framed them - they are now all hanging in the homes of Gramps' extended family.

Thanks for reporting that Ashdown.
It's nice to know that we have slightly helped the family in their mourning.
