37 goals against now .... Dreadful Defence.
10 straight away defeats ... Another great Record achieved.
I thought we were going to win away games once we played the bottom teams , yeah right ..
We are in the bottom three and that's where you deserve to be if you lose every away game.
By the time we play Stoke I see us 20th ...
Only one place Redknapp will take us in May... Still Tony loves him .

With the fixtures the others around us have, we will be in there for a while, probably till May thanks to our Away record being so ridiculous .

We can definitely stay up. All it takes is one away result to get the monkey off our backs and we're due for a couple shock home wins against the big clubs. But we thoroughly deserve to lose every game if we play like we did today. Defense is worst in the league, midfield loses possession like it's their job and we're paying them 50k a week to do it. But only 3 points away from 12th? Not giving up yet but obviously this can't continue.

Needed at least a point today. I also have to agree, the defending was poor and the midfield was giving away too many balls. Burnley was much more organized and had the better tactics today. Keep playing like this on the road, we will go down for sure. Granted there is still time to turn it around, but it needs to be soon.
Harry keeps talking about getting another striker, we have enough strikers. Need a LB and a real RB. I like Isla, but his defending was poor today and he would serve us better working further up the pitch. Definitely could use Yun back and he was good enough at the position, but for the time being, Hill is too slow at LB and Traore is just not a good defender, although he played well enough today.

Dyches team every week more passionate than ours, don't see any passion from our management during games or in interviews. Mundane and droll. He could have a million strikers don't matter , just ask Blackpool when they were in the Prem, they scored two or three every week and Let in four. Look where it took them ..

I think we can still stay up, but with defending like that it's going to be real hard.
To me, it's not just the poor tackling...it's the positional sense that some of our defenders seem to lack. I think that Caulker's had a decent season, but today was not his best game, particularly for the second goal, that's a very simple interception that he can do...I'm not sure how he get's turned around like that.
All we needed was one point today to build on, yet we couldn't get it.

How Arfield got past 3 defenders to score today was laughable. Isla is no right back and he constantly gets beaten by left wingers. How Redknapp says he's not looking for defenders is beyond me. I'd have said that was the number one area of importance for us. We really needed to get something going away from home today and we blew it with the kind of defending you'd be blasting in the Vanarama League.

Defence is dire whatever combination we play , is Traore even a footballer ? Midfield today gave the ball away cheaply and to play Taraabt was just ridiculous , I think on this showing we cannot expect any points away from home !

Surely any Manager with this stat would step down ?
The loss to relegation rivals Burnley confirmed QPR as having the worst record in the English top-flight since 1964-65 season . 10 straight away defeats at the start of a season.

Its hard to see how we're going to get any points away from home. This goes beyond just bad luck. Its in our DNA now to just lose away from home. Opponent is clearly irrelevant. I'm just fed up of this feeling every away game. This has really gut punched me today.

Like a lot of others I feel pretty negative after the result today.
We do seem to be making a habit of becoming record breakers for all the wrong reasons and frustrated fans are reported to have conflicted with the players after the game today.
Some so called 'in the knows' on Twitter suggesting that Hoddle is unpopular with the players.
What bothers me is that given the large number of new recruits that Fernandes has invested in or brought in on loan I struggle to name any players that have done better than flat line at QPR, very few seem to have improved their game with us. More to the point an awful lot seem to under perform compared to their performances at previous clubs.
I would say Charlie Austin is the obvious exception in our regular starting eleven, whatever that is.
What is it with QPR, we seem to be going backwards again?

Three seasons out of four in Prem have been disasters. Promotion on a lucky goal by Zamora. We have shown that wecant compete at this level. Why?. Systemically we have failed to put
together a structure on and off field which can comprehensively plan what is needed to perform in some satisfactory way in Prem. Why did they think that buying over the hill overpriced
damaged rejects for a high price would do the trick? Lack of football sense, knowledge, foresight and adequate scouting to start things off.

Tightening up a the back would be the obvious place to start because if we don't concede the worst we do is take a point.
The teams that get relegated will generally be the ones that consistently give away sloppy goals and that is us so far this season.

After I wrote above piece, I thought of how Tango and Cash would not spend any money to help us go up. Bernie said then, the worst thing that could happen to us is to be promoted. He was right. But he helped grease the skids by selling during first transfer window. There was no structure in place that had the time to pick three solid players, rather than the mad rush of signees with their agents like bees to the honey. Colin actually had us in a bit of a good possibility. then he was gone for Hughes, who rubbished Fulham? Again, poor judgement. Ice man had our most goals that season and we stay up by the dint of Bolton missing a penalty as we blow a lead in injury time at the Ethihad. We had no defence then either. Hughes was kept on but we had no Football director and quality staff to help him put together a team for the next season when again we threw money at glue factory types, threw away people like Puncheon and lost 12 13 straight games where we had that same slo- mo hesitant look. We lost all away games bar one and a draw somewhere and not much better at home. Then we go down and get Charlie Austin to win games for us but fall back, only to win at Wembley. Then the same repeat performance where Redknapp at retirement age given all responsibility by Fernandes, and we come a cropper again. A sad tale of woeful repeat underperforming which has resulted in the current mess, but now held by the throat, of incomprehensible debt, the magnitude of which could bury us. Yes. Bernie Ecclestone was and still is, correct.

I wouldn't pass judgement on whether 'in the knows' do know or don't know Rory.
I am sure the source is trustworthy and I know they are loyal but I for one hope it isn't true because if we don't have unity as a club we are both doomed and back to square one.

Southampton just put on a good show at Old Trafford unlike our effort earlier in the season.
Not sure our defence will be as good Saturday though .

What i see in the successful sides is a CDM that helps out the back four like matic for chelsea or schneiderlin for Southampton. Someone who can control the midfield (which we didn't do at all against burnely) and help out the back four. Someone like Sandro can work, we would need to pray he doesnt step on a blade of grass that breaks his ankle though. Sad thing is we can't get these kinds of players and with this loan policy in place we wont get the quality players we need. We're stuck with harry and this team until the end of the season.

Soton. much better tam than us. Defence is blancmange Midfield, mixed fruit and nuts. strike force Austin solid, Zamora fitness issues, newsboy and Fer, who knows. Chilean not used as striker.

Selection of Harrys Comments
(It’s very difficult to win away from home,” Redknapp said.). But why Harry?
(Some teams have only won one game away from home, does that make them fantastic?) Two teams have only won one game away Burnley and Palace and they have drawn 4-5 games each too. Well it makes them better than us .
(Seven or eight of that team were playing last year in the Championship and finished miles behind Burnley and 20 points behind Leicester so we can't get carried away about who we are.) We have spent nearly 30 million since then, what have they spent in the summer, somewhat less?

i was one who thought positively when arry came.thought he would be a damned sight better than Hughes. but i really cannot believe how clueless he really does appear. he has no idea who his team is,so many different players played so far this season, that was one of the excuses the last time we went out of the prem. lessons really have not been learned from every level, bought in old players again , why because they were free such as ferdinand, get him in bcause he is a big name , no other reason obviously,3-5-2 , 4-5-1 , 4-4-2, ,may as well be 11-0-0 we would still concede.good managers work from the back its well known get ure defence sorted and then go from there.if u dont concede u wont lose at least.the players these days are young , fit and fast bringing in 30+yr old defenders is never going to do it, is it, i dont know maybe im wrong but i cant see it.adel taraabt this is for me the worst ,i am not a great fan bcause his attitude stinks but one minute he is 3 stone overwieght, unfit ,wont train, january comes and as if by magic he is straight on for 90 mins,a desperate attempt by a desperate manager to put taraabt into the shop window to raise funds to spend on more ancient heroes,he was probably hoping adel would bang in a couple of goals and a manager somewhere would be as blind as he is and sign him up.arry sits there clueless all match and then at every interview all u get is (we were the better team at the time until they scored i thought there was only 1 team gunna win it.lol. this is my opinion only as i see it, some wont agree and thats fine , i been quiet for ages on here but blimey it makes me angry at moment bcause good ol arry really does not seem to give a stuff.

I find it a bit mysterious too, tom. And it isn't just Harry. I tend to think that the whole conception of the Club is wrong, and the only place the real QPR exists is among its supporters, but that is a much wider question, and it applies, perhaps, to most Clubs these days.
But even so, I confess myself AMAZED that they've done SO badly. I thought there was less to Hughes AND Redknapp than their reputations (and enormous salaries) suggested, but not THIS much less. I thought they were decent managers who hadn't really achieved anything top level, but they weren't disaster areas.
My real concern is that the Club serves other purposes. Not just in the understandable sense that players and managers have careers and need money and move on, but they are still servants of the Club, and the Board are its representatives.
I see no evidence that this is so any more. We're told this is a business, and we know that businesses, even decent ones, look to keep wages down to a level that, at the very least, reflects what the employees earn for the Club.
QPR doesn't seem to work like this at all. Everyone gets guaranteed money, and for YEARS ahead, even though experience tells us we will be heartily sick of virtually every player within 6 months. So I take it that the object of the exercise is for the managers, players and directors to make as much money out of it as possible.
And it works. For them.
Compared to the people running the Clubs, the players and their representatives are absolute GENIUSES. Their money just goes on going UP and UP. Fine, Premier League money goes up and up too. But why are the Clubs borrowing vast sums on TOP? We spent £100 million per season in our first two years in the Prem, when revenue was only £40 million. And not on footballers. I don't know what they were, but they certainly weren't that.
And why are we expected to praise the likes of Fernandes when he loads the cost of all his mnistakes onto the Club as debt? He is clearly intelligent enough not to back up his dreadful decisions so far with his own money, the £178 million is QPR's.
But what does that tell us? That while we are expected to 'believe' THEY don't believe anything of the sort. No rush from the players to help the Club by offering to back up whatever it is their agents tell us about their capabilities by taking the money only when they win.
They want it when they lose as well? Is that because they believe they are really good? Or because they know they are not. Or because they couldn't give a toss. And the people running the Club let them walk all over QPR.
The impression I get is that the players, the managers, and the 'investors' - the Board, in other words - and the agents and all the rest are in it together. They don't need to ask anything of the players or managers because they'll be getting rid of them very soon anyway.
If they had to keep them for 5 years after signing them, it wouldn't be so easy to cover up every disaster by starting again from scratch (thus ensuring we never learn because there is never anyone here for more than 5 minutes actually TO learn anything).
Then we have a new manager, new squad, and, in a year or two, new 'investors', and they can sell us the old 'keep the faith' line for another couple of seasons.
Everyone makes enough money not to care. And the Club funds each new regime by losing even more of its own money so they can make a splash in the tabloids signing 'world class talent' on our way to the 'Champions League' and fill our '40,000 capacity' stadium.
What is scary is that nobody - apart from us sees anything amiss. TF trusts each manager, and they speak highly of him and the Board.
We are the ones who need to be put in our place. And they play that game in an interesting way, with ludicrous comments about the Champions League and all that on one hand, so the dream is on a ludicrous scale, while week in and week out, they manufacture one excuse after another for some of the worst top flight football seen at QPR, and two record-breaking runs of failure.
Even so, I'm still surprised at how bad they are. What concerned me more before all this was that we'd be a decent mid-table side, maybe really quite good, but still nowhere near the kind of Club to match our finances, playing strength and pulling power (talent and support) with the hype, the 40,000, Champions League, and 'world class talent' Fernandes and Bhatia and Beard have been touting.
And why bother? If we're going to be that good, we can wait. Winners don't have to tell everyone they're going to win. Their talent and their results speak for themselves.
