Five QPR youngsters feature in Football League loan action ...
MICHAEL Harriman ensured that Luton Town start Christmas in the League Two promotion spots courtesy of a 3-0 win against Newport County.
The Hatters a third in the table after Harriman kept a clean sheet in their win at Kenilworth Road.
Elsewhere, Jack Robinson was unable to prevent Huddersfield Town slipping to a 1-0 defeat against Birmingham City on Saturday.
Robinson was making his 15th appearance of the season with the Terriers are now just five points above the Championship relegation zone in 20th spot.
In League One Michael Doughty and Max Ehmer suffered defeat with League One side Gillingham as they lost 3-2 at home to Chesterfield on Saturday.
Both played the full match at the Priestfield Stadium as the Gills pulled back a two goal deficit before Jimmy Ryan scored the winner for the visitors in the 69th minute.
However, Michael Petrasso came off the bench in the 73rd minute of Notts County’s 2-2 draw at Rochdale.
The R’s winger replaced Stephen McLaughlin at Spotland as Gary Thompson’s 90th minute leveller secured a point for Shaun Derry’s side.
EDS teammate Cole Kpekawa was an unused sub for Colchester United in 1-0 win at Yeovil Town after extending his loan spell at the League One side for a further month, as was Under-21 midfielder Frankie Sutherland who watched on from the substitutes bench in AFC Wimbledon’s 1-0 defeat at home to Mansfield Town.
