A slow start but a good second half performance , specially without Isla and then Yun Well done to the boys and management for turning it round at halftime ! Good home wins over Villa , Leicester , Burnley and WBA . Beat Palace and get the full house , most seasons we lose to the bottom teams so this is very pleasing . Charlie third leading goalscorer in the Prem behind Aguero and Costa. None of us thought it possible a QPR striker might get twenty goals in a Prem season , amazing . If we could of got an away win we would be nearly mid table . Need to sort this out in Jan still. Still, great win sometimes we ride our luck but a wins a win . Defeat again for Hull who look in turmoil. defeat for Leicester no win in ten games like Hull. Defeat for Palace , Burnley and WBA, oh the perfect day . Even better if Newcastle win and Stoke Lose . Makes the weekend so much sweeter Add to that, for a bit of fun me and my youngest have a £1 bet each weekend and every time Rangers are at home we go for 3-2 . After Leics that's the 2nd in recently. Hope your lad had a great Day Sharky .

Great goals too. Now if only we could play like this away? And why not? Same players on a football pitch.

I think we have to try something a little different Andy, something else that doesn't involve Phillips Maybe experiment with Arsenal a game we are not expected to get anything from but we need a point up at Burnley minimum , just make sure they don't get three. We didn't have Charlie at Everton admittedly, hopefully after the window if Charlie has to miss again we have better cover.
Do you think the away form is starting to be a mindset thing or more tactical ?
We be great if we could get 4 points from Palace and Swansea over Christmas at home and get to 21 pts before we play Burnley .

Charlie Austin?
He can't play, if he's lucky he'll get five goals in a season in the Premier. He doesn't work. What we need is a proven Premier goalscorer. Can't even score a penalty when yuou need him to. We'll never get back what we paid for him. Overpriced & overrated.
I'm sure that most of you have heard some or all of the above at some time. All I know is that he is the best natural goalscorer we have had since Clive Allen.
And how often did he make the clearance in our penalty area today?
Take a bow Charlie. Don't rush into the England setup though. We need you, Hodgson can do without!

Harry has them playing to defend away and when we concede the usual goal, we fold and accept our fate. This bullshit 5 man midfield and the usual loan striker is not working. Why not try Vargas and Austin or Zamora with either one of them away from home? What have we got to lose? We've done that 8 times already. Let's go for it and stay positive. Today, 2-0 down and stayed positive and we got a deserved result imo. Try doing this away from home.

Yep , more positivity required away but won't let take the shine off Todays win . London Derbies are strange events Andy . Maybe Arsenal will think it's in the bag and we can get our first point . Sod's law says we will get a point sooner or later . I think we will get a couple of loans in Jan that might help our away form, like don't play Phillips .

Good win , never saw it coming after the terrible start but plugged away and got the win . Thought Clint did well , how long since he played ? Karl Henry again , has now become the main man in midfield forget Barton . Great hat trick from Austin , come on lads show the same character against the gunners on Boxing Day .

I still think we should play a weakened team against Arsenal

Makes a huge difference H, enjoy it. No one know whats next. Also today, don't forget Zamoras' deft nod-on which gave Charlie the 2nd goal.

I will LondonR Yes Bobby played his part and all the others . Good home form at the minute 13 points from our last 5 home games , excellent . If our away performances give us one or two wins we could be mid table with Liverpool and Everton

Teams playing us at there ground will be aware of our away form and they won't want to the team that breaks our duck.
They will get nervous. Away win is not far away.
Still reckon we need a win and a draw before new year to stay up.

I will dig out the old points thread we said we would like and bump it Maude. Sure we said around the 20 mark after Palace would be decent ! Glad your lad had a good day Sharky

Agree with everything, Hill looked great for not playing since I believe September. I wouldn't mind playing him at CB once in a while to give Dunne a rest. Henry has been amazing since starting this season and has been a real difference maker and of course there is Charlie. Also I think we all would love a point against the Gunners. Obviously Zamora and probably Dunne won't be able to play, but at least Charlie should start and no Rio if we want any points at all.

Always makes the weekend so much brighter doesn't it? Apart from my bruised butt after falling off my chair when Austin scored the winner

We were shocking, but ground out the result. Obviously helps when you have a striker who knows how to finish. Lets not forget the team are creating a lot of chances for our charlie.
Staying up is back in our own hands now and that suits me. U r rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssss
