Congratulations to Eduardo on the birth of his child.
I hope we don't miss our two Chileans today.

Watching this on Vipbox. Commentators heavily biased towards Newcastle. Voices rise every time Newcastle get the ball. Pundit is Newcastle through and through.

Burnley two up at Stoke so we are lying bottom at present.

Stone wall penalty if your the home side (though not QPR), see chelsea. The ref does not like our commitment at all, determined to send someone in a hooped shirt off.

We better start learning to pick up points away from home and quick.
Had a bad feeling as soon as I saw Vargas and Isla missing from the lineup. Without then we have no pace or threat down the flanks.
Even Burnley can win away in this league so I do not know why our lot seem to find it so impossible to do.

A lot better than the early seasson away games but oh for some ambition.
The game was there to be won if we had shown more attacking intent. At least one point lost.
I thought the game was crying out for Isla to come on for Sandro so that we could get forward on the right. We looked more creative with Niko, but our chance of victory went when he dallied instead of playing the ball first time with his left.
Caulker & Yun were our stand out players IMO.

6 away defeats Very poor .We huffed and puffed but need goals away from home . Missed the two Chileans , need to pick up points from these sort of games. They had lots on injuries there, we needed a point minimum. 8 points from 12 games not good enough to stay in this division sadly.

We were slow all day and our passing was sloppy, gave the ball away far too cheaply, Barton and Onuoha being the main culprits.
At some point we're gonna have to pick up points on the road in these kind of games cos we ain't gonna get 40 points just from our home games.
Desperately need to win against Burnley next week now. Waited optimistically for 2 weeks for this game and predictably another good old QPR away from home performance lets me down again.

Vargas was a big miss today. No striker on the bench due to poor planning in pre season.

Sandro.
Plays more like Sandra. Beast my arse. Seen newborn lambs with more resilience.

I have to agree with everyone about this game, we weren't creating anything. Badly missed the Chileans, understandable for Vargas to have the day off and congratulations to him for his new child. However, I felt Isla should have been brought in for the later part of the game. Understood bringing Niko in, but Isla would have been a better sub for Sandro. Oddly enough I thought there was some solid performances from the midfielders and defenders, just no one to create goal scoring opportunities. Onouha did a good job for not getting regular playing time. Fer is getting better with each match and was constantly fighting for possession. Sandro was very solid IMO and could be very important for this team staying up. Barton did fairly well, but his corners were poor, at least let Yun take the left sided corners. Personally for me, either Dunne or Green as MOTM, despite the one goal it could have been much worse. Next week, they need to go back to the team from the last few games, more balanced.

Arguably Sissoko should not have been on the pitch after his lunge at green, was already on a yellow. Def pen in the 1st half for us.
I agree we have to start picking up the odd point away, don't understand the comments about lack of ambition. We played 2 up front away from home.

Not a chance of Fer having been foulded. Unlike the shove by Sandro which was certainly a penalty for them. Playing two up front does not guarentee ambition. That comes from other players going forward & we were lacking in that department. However, it was a big improvement on the away matches at the start of the season.

Yes, they played two up front, but who was supposed to help the attacking half? Both Vargas and Isla were out, two of the most creative players and two players Zamora and Austin have relied heavily on. Obviously we can't complain about Vargas not being in the match, but why wasn't Isla? Three defensive midfielders is overkill and the only three players giving any real opportunities for Austin and Zamora were Fer and Yun. Fer looked like he was on an island when he tried to get forward. Barton and Onouha were clearly rusty, who should not have been playing together and most of all right next to each other. Most of the attacking chances were coming from the left as those two were constantly giving the ball away and making poor decisions. Overall, this team just didn't have the balance it had in the last three matches and that is why this team wasn't able to get a point, which judging from Newcastle's performance was possible, if not likely with the right personnel.

Predictable result really , no good being unlucky and playing ok need to start winning games , the thought of Rio being back is terrifying , surely Onouha will play centre back and Isla will be back !

In defence Onouha did`nt look comfortable on the ball, his distribution and passing were woeful ,unfortunately Sandro seems to be a bit of a "Sicknote"ala Darren Anderton and yes we certainly did miss the the red hot chilli uns.

Palace beating Liverpool.
We could soon be cut adrift if we don't start winning our next few games.
Bad weekend for us.

I must have been watching a different game. We held the form team of the comp (5 wins on the trot before the game against us) for most of the game and only lost 1-0 to them. Charlie had a number of some clear chances but poor finishing let him down. Neddy was very poor giving the ball away unnecessarily. I agree that we need to pick up points but we are actually doing well against the form teams of the comp.
