Do we think this is the end of Joey Barton being first name on the team sheet?
Can't see both playing in the same side unless we are away at one of the top 6 clubs.

I suppose a cynic would say if you wanted to off load a fragile player then you would certainly point then towards a QPR fitness test
Only time will tell if this is a bargain for QPR or for spurs

I was talking last evening to the Bishop of Chelmsford (yes, really, and sorry about the name-dropping) who is a staunch Spuds supporter. I said I didn't mind conversing with him because we have got Sandro now; he gave a little grin but not sure why. I also told him I was not happy about the 4-0 drubbing we got at WHL. He apologised and laughed so I don't think he was all that sorry.

Thanks Gramps. What are the Bishop's views of Arsenal and Chelsea!!

QPR sign injury prone player shocker! We never fricken learn, do we. Least we got one half of tepid football out of him before he reverted to type then. 2 threads running on this one I just posted this on the "injuries" thread.
Nothing would surprise me but Harry said it was a knock on his knee - so if it is very bad it will need all the usual scans when swelling goes down (like Ale) and be midweek before it is confirmed either way. So I agree it is probably rumour based on nothing and hope for the best. Ale, Jenas and Sandro all out with the same injury would definitely be more than unlucky

Obviously nomar you must have the inside story - or is it a case of someone gets injured so lets find someone to blame?
Next week's headline "Sandro scores winner for Rangers" ??
I have no idea how long he's out for or how serious it is. If you read the Spurs blog that was linked you'd see the stats on his fitness and ability to play 90 mins regularly. That he's already missed a game through injury after, what, 3 gameweeks kind of reinforces the fact that he's injury prone. That's not my fault. It is what it is. But we do seem to get the injury prone ones.
