Pulled from the team. I hope he enjoys John "we know what you said" Terry's company. Not!

Don't need him, we've got premier league goal scorer Charlie Austin.

Better system without him Have to agree, the team looked great with the 4-3-3. Now they don't have to sell Phillips and Hoilett.

Don't need him, we've got premier league goal scorer Charlie Austin. Great that Charlie got off the mark but if Remy has gone we cannot rely on Charlie again especially if his hammy is playing up. Minimum one preferable two strikers needed.
Harry said Remy wanted to play today even after the offer - maybe it is not all done and dusted! Medicals and terms still pending.
I know, my post was tongue in cheek.

I expect terms of the deal were that we didn't play him today whilst terms are being discussed.

Thanks Bushman.
And of course Arsenal also "Poached" our brilliant coach, Bobby Campbell - and tried to "steal" Parkes and Francis - in 1973/74

Good striker, can't see him getting much play time & the Chels most likely bought him to spite Arsenals challenge this season.

From the Mirror an interesting piece from 'Arry about Liverpool suggesting Remy had failed a medical. Chelsea's Loic Remy transfer makes Liverpool pulling out a mystery to QPR boss Redknapp Aug 31, 2014 22:30 By Darren Lewis Reds scrapped a deal for striker last month following medical checks but title rivals have now bought 27-year-old who has "never had a problem" physically Harry Redknapp believes Chelsea’s swoop for Loic Remy makes a mockery of Liverpool’s suggestion that the striker had failed a medical. The Blues announced the arrival of the France striker as a replacement for Fernando Torres on Sunday - a month after the Anfield giants decided to pull the plug on a move for the player following a check on his physical condition. Redknapp said: “Why Liverpool didn’t take him, I don’t know. "I think there were a couple of clubs that were half-interested this week and had a look at him. Then Chelsea came in and it’s Champions League for him and everything else. “You would never risk it. He’s a fit lad, he’s never had a problem.” And the promoted Hoops' boss, who secured his first win of the season on Saturday against Sunderland, believes there should be a rule preventing clubs from suggesting players have failed medicals in the wake of the Remy affair. He said: “I think that’s a rule that needs to be changed. “When there’s a fee agreed and you have the medical, if you don’t sign a player I don’t think you should come out and say he has failed a medical. I think you should say you couldn’t agree terms and you all move on. “The medical side? You can finish people’s careers in some cases.” Asked if Liverpool’s decision had damaged QPR’s bid to help the striker find a new club, Redknapp said: “I think it did really, it certainly didn’t do us any favours. We’ve all done it though, I’ve done it [pulled out of a move for] a player when he had a medical. “We’ve all done it. I’m not saying other clubs haven’t done it and Liverpool are the only team who have done it. "But I do think it’s a rule that should be changed, it’s something that should be looked at.” www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelseas-loic-remy-transfer-makes-4139287#ixzz3C2RxwsYj Follow us: @dailymirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook

From the Chelscum Offie, his first interview www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2014/08/first-words--loic-remy.htmlFirst words: Loic Remy LOIC REMY: EXCLUSIVE FIRST INTERVIEW Loic Remy completed his move to Chelsea on Sunday afternoon and quickly sat down with the official Chelsea website to discuss the transfer, before heading to France on international duty... Loic, welcome to Chelsea. How do you feel to be here? ‘I feel very happy and very proud to have signed for Chelsea. They are one of the best clubs in the world and I can’t wait to get started, training and playing with my new team-mates, when I get back from international duty with France.’ Was the opportunity to play in the Champions League an important factor in your decision to move? ‘To be honest I wanted to play in the Champions League this season so yes, that was another of my motivations for coming here. I know that Chelsea can win the Champions League this season because there is so much quality in the squad. The first thing to aim for is winning titles.’ You’ve played at Stamford Bridge once before, for Marseille back in 2010… ‘It was amazing. The stadium was completely full and the fans made a lot of noise, shouting and screaming all game. The fans and the atmosphere from that game is a very good memory for me. I can’t wait to play my first game at Stamford Bridge now.’ Have you spoken with the manager, and what did he say to you? ‘Yeah, I spoke with him. He is very clever and he knows exactly what he wants. He has targets for me and I know I have a target for myself as well. ‘Everybody wants the best so the discussion was really good. I know he can get the best out of a player and I’m looking forward to working with him.’ You join an illustrious list of French players to have pulled on the Chelsea shirt over the years… ‘I’m very proud and I’m going to try to follow these French guys. There have been so many famous French players at Chelsea that have done really well. I don’t say I want to be a legend like some of them but I’m going to do my best. I think the supporters are going to enjoy watching me and we can have some good moments together.’ What is your preferred position? ‘I’m a striker but the thing is I can adapt myself for any situation. I have played on the left and the right side in the past, so I know I can play anywhere in the attacking positions. It’s up to the manager where he decides to put me.’ We have already scored many goals this season. How excited are you to link up with the attacking players we have in the squad? ‘I think it’s normal when you play for a big team like Chelsea to have many good opportunities as an attacking player. We have two great strikers here already and I don’t have a choice if I want to be in the team - I have to play at a very high level.’

Good luck to the lad (Remy).
Time to cheer on the ones we have as we're going to need contributions from all of them if we're going to stay up.

There are two kind of mercenaries: Those who go for the big money at top clubs and perform; and those who don't. I (Grudgingly) would say Remy is the kind who does. As does say, Barton...And then there have been the slew of players who came through QPR who didn't. Just some of the names of the Relegation team...
