I have just seen a thread on LFW stating that we have won this award for helping disadvantaged players/people.
Does anybody have any information on this?
I'm assuming that it is true, so well done to evrybody involved at Queens Park Rangers who contributed top us gaining this prestige.

The announcement
QPR AWARDED WORLD FAIR PLAY DIPLOMA
Club and Trust rewarded for promotion of fair play in former crisis regions … QPR and its charitable arm, QPR in the Community Trust, have received a World Fair Play Diploma for its engagement as a member of the Football Club Social Alliance (FCSA).
The International Fair Play Committee recognised the FCSA’s promotion of fair play in former crisis regions. Rangers are the only Premier League side that forms the FCSA, along with FC Basel 1893, SV Werder Bremen, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FK Austria Wien. Andy Evans, CEO of QPR in the Community Trust, told http://www.qpr.co.uk: “We are very happy to receive such a prestigious diploma. “Receiving such an award alongside various sporting stars makes us immensely proud and serves to highlight the excellent work the Trust and the Club have done.”
The FCSA uses the uniting power and the values of football, to support the education of disadvantaged young people. With that, their development is supported sustainably.
The Basel-based SCORT foundation coordinates the cooperation of the FCSA members and is responsible for the respective project management.

Is this due to the Tiger Cubs? I see they're off to Switzerland. Good on them and I hope they have a lot of fun.
