I suppose Harry has to got to give him a chance to prove himself or perhaps the shop window. Against what must be 'inferior' opposition, he could/should put in some eye-catching performances.
But I'll not be holding my breath that he'll be in any way a 'reformed' character...

Do hope that we're not playing their youth team.

Not a chance, Richard Dunne was born in Tallaght and the chance to face him and an English premier league team will ensure their first team.

Shamrock Preview of the Game Shamrock Official Site Clash of the Hoops slideshow-v-qprThe friendly game at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday afternoon is the first ever meeting between Shamrock Rovers and Queens Park Rangers. QPR toured Ireland in 1981 and 1982, and played a friendly with Longford Town in 1984; Limerick won 2-1 against their under-21’s in a friendly at the UCD Bowl last week. Four players have made a competitive appearance for both Rovers and QPR. They are Paul ‘Ski’ McGee, Brian McGovern, Danny Murphy and Rohan Ricketts. Greg Costello spent much of his youth career with QPR; Jim Magilton became Michael O’Neill’s assistant two years after parting company with the R’s. Joe Gallen, brother of former QPR striker Kevin, played for Rovers in the early 90s and became the youth coach at Loftus Road after retiring at the age of 26. 12 men have been capped by the Republic of Ireland whilst at QPR. Six have found the net – on-loan Kevin Doyle recently headed home against Costa Rica in Philadelphia to become the first Ranger to score a senior international goal for Ireland since John Byrne in November 1987. Byrne scored the opener in a 5-0 win over Israel in Jack Charlton’s first game at Dalymount Park. Don Givens made the most appearances (27) and scored the most goals (11) as a QPR player over a six year period, netting a hat-trick against the USSR (1974) and hitting four against Turkey (1975) in European Championship games at Dalymount Park. Ski McGee scored on his debut against Turkey at Lansdowne Road in 1978, which is also the last game that a League of Ireland player (Rovers duo John Giles and Ray Treacy) scored for Ireland. McGee scored again in Czechoslovakia a year later; Terry Mancini scored in Brazil in 1974. Gary Waddock got a goal in Euro ’84 qualifiers against Iceland and Holland and a friendly with World Cup holders Italy at Dalymount in 1985. Republic of Ireland internationals as QPR players Ray Brady – 6 caps from 1963 to 1964 Don Givens – 27 caps and 11 goals from 1972 to 1978 Terry Mancini – 4 caps and 1 goal from 1973 to 1974 Paul McGee – 9 caps and 2 goals from 1978 to 1979 Michael Walsh – 3 caps in 1979 Gary Waddock – 19 caps and 3 goals from 1980 to 1985 John Byrne – 14 caps and 1 goal from 1985 to 1988 Michael Robinson – 6 caps from 1985 to 1986 Martin Rowlands – 5 caps from 2004 to 2009 Damien Delaney – 2 caps in 2008 Richard Dunne – 3 caps in 2013 Kevin Doyle – 2 caps and 1 goal in 2014 (loan) Shamrock Rovers and Queens Park Rangers links Paul McGee – QPR 1977 to 1979; Rovers 1984 Greg Costello – QPR 1985 to 1990; Rovers 2001 to 2003 Joe Gallen – Rovers 1992-93 (loan); QPR coach 1998 to 2007 Danny Murphy – QPR 1997 to 2003; Rovers 2010 Brian McGovern – QPR 1999-00 (loan); Rovers 2005 (loan) Rohan Ricketts – QPR 2007 (loan); Rovers 2011 Jim Magilton – QPR manager 2009; Rovers assistant manager 2011 www.shamrockrovers.ie/news/35-news/3695-weekend-stat-attack-
