Where is the logic. No more than two months ago, Crystal Palace, who where languishing at the bottom of the Premiership, sacked their manager, and there where many good judges on this site, who predicted, there demotion after one season, on the big stage.
Well what do you know, a different manager, with basically the same team, but a different team plan. Last night, they beat a top 5 team, Everton away, and are now safe from demotion.
Where is the logic, QPR, with a team of stars gets demoted, and here is a team, of no names who stay up. Even now, I doubt, if there is one player in their team, who anyone on this site, would consider, good enough for our present team. I suppose having a Aussie, as their captain, helps. Come on without looking, how many know his name.

...and Jason four-goals-in-his-last-three-games Puncheon couldn't get a game for us.

Pulis has done an incredible job with Crystal Palace and only three points shy of his old team. Also I knew who Jedinak was even before Jon's post.

Come on without looking, how many know his name. The biggest misnomer around is that you need to spend big to stay up once you are in the Prem. What you really need is a group of capable players prepared to do what their manager tells them to do and who do the basics of defending well. Palace are pretty much playing the same defenders (except Dann for Gabbidon) that Holloway played. The difference is that they are now doing the basics of defending well. We had a collection of talented players who genuinely didn't give a sh*t about listening to their manager or had any desire to do even the basics required of their position properly. Palace players under Pulis are prepared to work hard for each other. Last season our shower of sh*te weren't even interested in breaking stride to help a colleague. Palace wil stay up when teams far more talented, on paper, will go down. We went down because we had too many on our books who didn't care. The ones that did care were either benched or sold.
