Rangers lost their first game of the season at home to a Brentford side 2-3, in front of a crowd of 24,381. It was the largest attendance of the season home or away.
Ernie Beecham was the only member of the playing staff to play in all 47 league and cup games.
FA sanctioned Reds v Whites was the first experimental floodlight match,which also saw the introduction of white balls for the first time.
Joint leading goal scorers with 14 apiece.

A letter on Queen's Park Rangers headed paper requesting Mr. E. Phypers to call to see the Manager Archie Mitchell about a trial. Also the original QPR envelope.
Either Ernie Phypers failed the trial or he did not turn up as he went on to play 30 times for Tottenham Hotspur between 1934 to 1936.
