Just one game (just in case). Dont hate me nor blame me if it happens. Well it wont, will it?

not bothered.
dont think we have the defense as it stands to predict a result.
i will go on saturday to my usual pub, have my usual drink, have my usual walk to the ground.
and as usual i will go and watch the game knowing that the usual will probably not happen.

The first game is always important But when its at home against Swansea then it is a must win If we had 0 points after the first 2 fixtures we would be in trouble again with a lot of tough fixtures up ahead

Swansea have never tasted victory at Loftus Rd.

Swansea have never tasted victory at Loftus Rd. Noooooo!!! You fool! Seriously if we lose then it'll back up the slightly pessimistic feeling that has been sneaking up on me about this season, but i could always remind myself that Bolton were top after one result last year :-)

and we didn't get relegated (just)!! One result doesn't destroy a season.
My thoughts/feelings will also depend on the manner of the defeat. If we just don't turn up, then I'll be bitterly disappointed, but if we're all over them, hit the woodwork five times, have a couple of goals ruled offside (but weren't a la SWP at WBA), but lose to a cheeky sliced effort that has about five deflections, then I won't be too down-heartened.

The reason I don't do predictions is the very fact that Rangers can only win every single forthcoming ficture.
I will predict the following, decent forward line, great midfield, toilet defence.
Nothing to worry about and we will once again beat Swansea. ;D

I wanna 4-0 repeat of two years ago! But really it depends on how we lose. If we play well but someones goes red then well nuff said. However, if Green has a fumble or two then I am gonna be livid.

One match. Not going to define our season by any means. I'll be expecting to see a far more organized and confident side...if we look lost too often then I'll be disappointed.

Like Mark, I would be gutted but it won't mean the end of the season for us.
However, I would like six points after Norwich as away to Tottenham may be our easiest game in september.

Gutted of course, but we've all been supporting our beloved QPR long enough to expect bumps when they should be least expected.
Funny enough - and I'm not making this up - when we lost 4-0 to Bolton on the opening day last season I remember thinking they'd go down, they were truly sh*te even in victory. They looked more shocked than we did.
So if we lose to swansea, like others say above, it depends on the manner in which we lose.

If we lose will of course be disappointed but right now just excited to get back inside the ground to be too concerned with the result at this second! Games like Swansea at home are at the easier end of a never easy scale of premiership games so it is important but i'm not going to be panicking if it all goes wrong.

Hello all you band of brothers.
Personally will this game mean much to me, of course, the first game of the season. But in Denmark this game is red hot, and the game will be broadcast live on TV, Laudrup's first game as manager of Swansea (first Dane as manager in the PL, which the Dane is very proud of). It would be so crazy to meet up in a QPR shirt into a sports bar / pub to see all the people faces that will follow Laudrup in his first match, so i would be mega disappointed if QPR will lose.

Swansea were one of the best passing sides in the Premiership, last season.
Hopefully they will retain that style of football, under Laudrup.
Tomorrow is going to be a very hot day.
The team that can keep the ball, will have an advantage.
Q.P.R have a much more potent strike force compared to Swansea.
