STILL wants to stay! CHRONICLE QPR man defiant despite tour snub By Jacob Murtagh Jul 18 2012 A DEFIANT Rob Hulse insists he has no intention on leaving QPR and plans to see out the rest of his contract at Loftus Road. The striker's days in W12 look numbered after he was left out of the squad for the pre-season tour to Asia, along with Joey Barton, DJ Campbell, Luke Young and Tommy Smith. Hulse is way down the pecking order following the summer signing of Andy Johnson, but still has a year to run on his deal. And the player's agent, Matt Buck, insists the frontman is settled in the area and is not seeking a move elsewhere, despite the snub. He told the Chronicle: “I have spoken to Rob and he's in no rush to leave the club. “He's disappointed that he wasn't included in the squad for the tour but he's not actively looking elsewhere. “He's also still catching up on his fitness following his hernia problem at the end of the season. “There's never been a discussion about him leaving QPR. His family are settled in the area and he plans to honour the contract. “We'll see what the next few weeks bring.” More www.fulhamchronicle.co.uk/london-qpr/2012/07/18/striker-defiant-despite-qpr-tour-snub-82029-31417242/#ixzz20xfbf6PB

- This means he was on such a good number he's prepared to forfeit playing. Obviously not motivated enough to win his place back but preferring to sitting back and cash in. Not the sort of player to aid in lifting team morale. Another Paladini contract...

Also known as doing a Winston Bogarde.
Clearly he's prepared to sit on his ass and cash his cheques every month. I'd be tempted to just pay up his last year and tell him to **** off (insert your own expletive).

Steven N'Zonzi has reportedly handed in a transfer request today, worth a go?? About 10 pages ago I said I'd love us to sign three Blackburn (2 present / 1 former) players in N'Zonzi, Hoillet and Samba. N'Zonzi is class.

Apparently SSN had a Hoilett update a whole ago on their transfer bit. Saying something about Hoilett having a medial and a really good compensation offer. Didn't name the club though. I thought because BMG were from a foreign league they didn't have to offer much in terms of compensation so that should rule them out.

We were linked with this guy in January you remember www1.skysports.com/news/12040/7912196/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterSky Sports understands that Queens Park Rangers are set to rekindle their interest in South African starlet Daylon Claasen. Mark Hughes first looked at the 22-year-old back in January, but a deal failed to materialise. But QPR are now ready to make a fresh move for his services, and with just a year left on his deal with Belgian outfit Lierse, he is unlikely to be priced out of a move. Highly-regarded Claasen is rated very highly in South Africa and many consider him as their new Steven Pienaar. The midfield schemer had an impressive campaign for Lierse last season scoring seven goals in 30 games, and now he could be set to be offered the chance of a move to the Premier League. A number of English clubs are believed to be keeping a close check on him, but QPR are very much at the head of the queue.

Portuguezers: Blackburn boss Steve Kean eyes two more Portuguese players as he plots Prem return The Rovers manager is handing a trial to Paulo Jorge and wants Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva Steve's Kean on Paulo Jorge: Blackburn boss wants to sign the Porto youngster Getty Steve Kean could sign a third Portuguese player after handing a trial to Porto starlet Paulo Jorge. The 18-year-old midfielder is a member of Portugal's Under-19 side and Kean will run the rule over him this week. He will train with Blackburn and play in a practice match against Macclesfield tomorrow. Kean has already signed Portuguese players Nuno Gomes and Fabio Nunes and has good contacts in the country from his time there as a player. Kean may even sign a fourth Portuguese and he remains keen on Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva. It emerged late last week that Joey Barton could be set to drop down to the Championship with Blackburn this season. Rovers target: Joey Barton is also on Steve Kean's shopping list Relegated Rovers boss Kean is trying to put together a squad that he hopes will seal an immediate return to the Premier League and is in talks with Queens Park Rangers about taking ex-Hoops skipper Barton on a season-long loan.
The former Newcastle midfielder has been banned for the first 12 games of next season for his final-day meltdown at the Etihad Stadium when he was sent off after clashing with Manchester City's Samir Nasri.
QPR conducted their own investigation into the incident and then stripped him of the captaincy and fined him six weeks' wages.
Although he is banned for 12 games, Blackburn's Championship season is 46 games long and with League Cup and FA Cup ties as well, he will serve his ban in a shorter space of time than he would in the Premier League with QPR.
Blackburn cannot afford his £80,000-a-week wages, but MirrorFootball understands QPR are willing to subsidise the move and pay a large percentage of his salary.www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-boss-steve-kean-eyes-1145734First it was 60 k , now 80k , i cant believe we are paying Braton anywhere near that ! Get him loaned out and at least try and get 30k week if we can ! His fines confirm £70k pw. Bloody joke!

Published on July 18, 2012 by Alex Hams · No Comments Celtic’s Victor Wanyama is believed to be attracting the interest of Arsenal, Liverpool, QPR and Newcastle United, according to reports from talkSPORT. The 21-year-old Kenyan midfielder has been impressive for the Hoops since his switch from Beerschot AC, in Belgium, attracting admiring glances from clubs south of the border – including quartet Arsenal, Liverpool, QPR and Newcastle. The youngster’s recent declaration of wanting to play in the Premier League has further ignited the interest of potential suitors, who are keen to snap up the youngster. Italian giants Juventus are also believed to be looking at the Nairobi-born midfielder, presenting an interesting alternative should he decide to call time on his career in Glasgow. Despite the vast level of interest, Celtic boss Neil Lennon remains adamant that the powerful midfielder will be going nowhere this summer. However, a big money bid will likely see the Northern Irishman’s stance overruled, as the Parkhead club will be looking to reinvest in their squad ahead of the new season. www.cleansheetsallround.co.uk/2012/07/celtic-star-wanyama-attracting-arsenal-liverpool-interest?
