He will sign a new contract Most likely outcome. Not definitive though. I admire your single-mindedness but I will enjoy it if you are wrong. In the context of a player with a history of behaviour problems who failed to live up to expectations in the Premiership, has been linked with moves many times and is now no more than a squad player it is not a strong negotiation point for a new contract. He does not always train properly or work as hard for the team on the pitch as he should. He was not a Hughes signing and does not fit the mold for other Hughes signings. I don't think the club would up his wages based on his current stature at LR. Should an offer come in for him then I think the club (and Adel) would take it. Of course Taarabt has signed a contract extension, it was ridiculous to suggest otherwise!

Paul Morrissey â€@pjmorrissey77
Great interview with @tonyfernandes today. Asked him if transfers were finished, he said: "No, three more and we know who we want." #QPR

This is a surreal preseason for us, I guess with all the crappy cards we've been dealt with over the last few years we are due some good ones.

Very much hope there will be a centre back among those three. Otherwise I think we would be a bit thin at the back.

I would guess Hoillett, Ki, and a CB (Samba?) These are the three that everyone appears to want or two of these three with Defoe , we are fighting with Newcastle and Overseas for Hoilett and Liverpool for Ki so maybe we wont get them both? Not sure if we can get them in by Friday to go on the trip? could they meet up with them next week?

QPR set to win race for Hoilett as they fend off interest from Newcastle By SPORTSMAIL REPORTER PUBLISHED: 22:35, 11 July 2012 | UPDATED: 22:35, 11 July 2012 Comments (0) Share QPR are close to winning the £4million battle for Blackburn Rovers winger Junior Hoilett after fending off late interest from Newcastle. The 22-year-old is out of contract but will command a compensation fee as he is under 24 and has been at Blackburn since he was 13. Wanted man: Junior Hoilett (centre) looks set to join QPR German club Borussia Monchengladbach wanted the Canadian but were reluctant to match wage demands of around £50,000 a week. QPR are also monitoring Celtic midfielder Victor Wanyama, 20, who is due to have talks over his future today. Blackburn are also in talks to sign Derby striker Steve Davies for around £200,000. Davies, 24, has been on the transfer list at Pride Park since turning down a new contract in May, but his club can demand a fee after taking up the option of a 12-month extension on his deal. Ipswich are also interested. Olympiakos are weighing up a bid for Blackburn midfielder Radosav Petrovic, 22, who has struggled to settle since last summer's £2.5m move from Partizan Belgrade. Blackburn have offered a trial to Malaysian defender Titus James Palani, 26, who is at French third division club Nanteuil. Wanyama can play cenre back or centre midfield like Derry role , guess we were trying to get De Yong , maybe this guy was a second choice. Celtic fans says he is very consistent and like him.

www.heraldscotland.com/sport/football/celtics-ki-sung-yueng-closes-in-on-qpr-switch.18131420?Celtic's Ki Sung-Yueng closes in on QPR switch Ronnie Cully Senior Sports Writer QUEENS PARK RANGERS believe they have won the race to sign Celtic's Ki Sung-Yueng. inShare Ki Sung-Yueng is thought to be negotiating personal terms ahead of a move to the Barclays Premier League Reports from Seoul claim that a fee of £7m has been agreed between the clubs and that only the finalising of personal terms is holding up the transfer. Liverpool were the latest club to be linked with Ki, who has also attracted interest from the Bundesliga. Celtic received an offer from Russian club Rubin Kazan, believed to be £6m. The offer was rejected by the Parkhead side. QPR made their interest known several weeks ago and, having now acquired the services of another South Korean, Park Ji-Sung, are confident they are very close to completing a move for Ki. A source close to Ki is quoted as saying: "QPR has completed a deal with Celtic for Ki Sung-Yueng's transfer and the two sides are currently negotiating over his salary. Ki Sung-Yueng's side and the clubs are all positive about the transfer, so it is virtually a done deal. Ki will play in the English Premier League."Neil Lennon will use the transfer fee to supplement his squad with new arrivals, with the Celtic manager tracking Ki's Olympic team-mate Kim Bo-Kyung.

Ahh, I see. This has historical ties, all the way back to the late 90:s That was when Fulham started buying our good players, so now we take revenge and buy all theirs.

I would have thought Hoilet and Ki, if signing, would have been announced today as we go off on tour tomorrow and there'll ne no one there to do a deal until we return.

I would have thought Hoilet and Ki, if signing, would have been announced today as we go off on tour tomorrow and there'll ne no one there to do a deal until we return. Not all of the clubs officials will go surely, they will have to leave at least one club official behind. Loftus Road will still be open whilst they are gone. Reckon it will be tomorrow morning we announce it
