Diakite is ill and may miss out, I'm gutted.
Cisse is facing a late fitness test for a knee problem.
HH has had a set back in his recovery and will definitely miss out.
Not good

How the F does Cisse get injured
And how the F does Helguson have a set back?
On the other hand: Commeth the hour. Commeth the man.

In the case of those mentioned injuries, I am expecting a MoM performance from the Renaissance Man.

Those could be the injuries that consign us to the championship.

Those could be the injuries that consign us to the championship. They have to play, whether they like it or not! At least Cisse and Diakite

I think one of Cissé or Diakite will play. Hughes will have a gameplan.
Teams like Wigan show you can compete with teams at this level if you play with purpose and defend as a unit.
You don't always need big names to get something out of these kind of matches

I don't want to start another SWP thread, but this amused me: QPR manager Mark Hughes could be missing three key players when his side face Champions League finalists Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. Adel Taarabt is suspended following his dismissal in the 1-0 victory over Tottenham last weekend, with former Chelsea player Shaun Wright-Phillips strong candidate to replace the Morocco international. Samba Diakite has not trained all week due to an illness, while Djibril Cisse, who was an unused substitute against Spurs after returning from a four-game ban, is struggling with a knee problem. Provisional squad: Kenny, Cerny, Murphy, Young, Gabbidon, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Taiwo, Hill, Derry, Diakite, Barton, Buzsaky, Smith, Mackie, Wright-Phillips, Hulse, Cisse, Bothroyd, Zamora, Helguson, Campbell. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2136165/Chelsea-v-QPR-Shaun-Wright-Phillips-line-face-Adel-Taarabt-suspended.html#ixzz1tGAI2X60

Of course that's what led to Warnock's rage against the poster on WATRB who posted team news. (And thanks to QBP, Warnock was - outrageously - able to announce/and the club then posted - this posters email information)

Grew up in belfast so could have supported local clubs such as linfield or glentoran but something pulled me towards the rs. True to say your team pick you not the other way round.

He has had bad luck , it happens , he did score 12-13 goals for Ollie last yr , not sure how he becomes bad overnight . Detest is a very strong word indeed to use against any of our players , maybe even i might consider to use it against one player but nobody in our current 25 . Bothroyd might be needed next yr if we were to drop and he's proved himself at level aswell . Considering the level of Players we did have in our strikeforce a year ago Vine , Agyemang , Hulse i'm very happy to have DJ and Bothroyd to fall back too.

I have to say that I would love to see the back of DJ, Bothroyd and Hulse. Not prem class and I don't care how many goals DJ got for Blackpool. That is history!

I still think Bothroyd is better than he's shown. And that Campbell could have done an ok job.

Well ive heard DJ and Bothroyd arent good enough , Helgusons not Good enough , Zamoras not good enough all within a week , erm who does that leave us with Cisse whos only played 4 from 12 games due to suspensions, well he is good enough , WHEN he plays ? Take it we need a whole strike force next year then All these Players are 100 % better than what we used to have , gradual steps forward surely ?

I wonder if the injury thing is a smoke screen. Hughes has done it before.

Good thing about Sickness rather than injury: Can recover. And guess in theory, can be "drugged up" to play..and play on adrenalin... (And playing doesnt make one worse like an injury would)
