I've got a gang! of five QPR supporters in Dunedin, New Zealand,...................and three of us are Scottish. We all have our different reasons for supporting QPR, and for myself; it's the most QPR fans i've met in my life (away from a game.)
I've even got the Mrs taking an interest in the mighty R's resutls!!!!!

Dad grew up in the black country but moved to London for work and started going to see QPR with workmates in the 70s. I was born and grew up in East Acton and starting being taken along with my mum from about age 3 (normally having to go home at half time as I didn't have a clue what was going on on the pitch...some say that ain't changed, I just stay longer...). Been going to Loftus Road for over 20 years now, most of that time as a ST holder, and as many away games as I can. Family moved back to the Midlands but still ST holders. Any child I have, no matter where they're born, are going to be the third generation!
Sad thing is though, I went to East Acton Primary School and I was only one of two kids in my class who supported QPR. Most followed Liverpool, Arsenal, United etc.

normally having to go home at half time as I didn't have a clue what was going on on the pitch.. My dad started taking me when I was 8 but I still didn't have a clue what was going on on the pitch, especially if there was a goal. In fact, for the first few games, I never saw a goal at Loftus Road. Not because there weren't any but because every time a chance of a goal came along, everyone stood up in front of me! It took a few games for me to realise that, however patiently I waited, there wasn't going to be a slow motion replay! ;D

Supported Liverpool as top of table till mate took me to first football game and haven't turned back .. Smell of grass, being so close and seing Sinton play as I was mid player .. Stilly favourite player even if not legend but good times! Luton that year 5 or6 nil .. 3-1 or 4-1 against all top teams! Loved it and on doorstep. Realised what I was missing
