The first FA Cup Final I REMEMBER watching was the 1967 Spurs vs Chelsea Final (Spurs with Venables and Frank Saul ...Chelsea with John Hollins and Allan Harris ...Frank Saul getting the winner ) Lineups en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_FA_Cup_Final

I'm enraged at what I've just heard. Chelsea fans were booing during the minutes silence for Hillsborough. Absolute scum.
Chelsea not even close to selling out their end.

What an absolute f**k up by the ref. if you can't give something you're not sure about. Then there is no excuse for what he just did. Unbelievable

In the time it took for the ball to make it back to the half way line for KO, the 4th official could have watched a replay and made the right decision.
Cech should have been sent off just now as well.
The linesman can't be blamed for that ghost goal as there were too many bodies blocking his view but the ref was in a perfect position to see it.

Chris Kamara just tweeted
"Even though Cech brought down Adabayor he did not prevent a goalscoring opportunity because Bale was on hand to score, so good refereeing!!!"
Fair enough I suppose

Spurs are gone!
Got to be confident about getting something out of that game, they must have worst or similar form to us in the last ten games, but their heads have gone, classic Spurs!
Point is not a disaster, but cant get beat by that mob.

Point is not a disaster, but cant get beat by that mob. The way they capitulated was awful. I think our game is very winnable.

I think the same "Physical" approach we saw against Arsenal would result in a few of the Spurs lads not fancying it, Chelsea physically dominated them, we have the players to do that as well, so lets do it.

Chelsea Statement on Moment of Respect ( Getting used to having to make such statements!) “Chelsea Football Club is extremely disappointed that a very small minority of fans embarrassed the club today by not honouring the moment’s silence before kick-off. “Chelsea FC believes all moments of respect should be honoured and today we pay our full respects to all those that suffered as a result of the Hillsborough disaster 23 years ago.” www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2736577,00.html

That was disrespectful of some of the fans , i even expect few honest Chelsea fans felt let down by those clowns.

Typical Chelscum fans, no respect given and they get no respect from anyone. Bleeds V Blunderland was my first cup final and have not missed on since. It's beyond a cup final for me now, it's a challenge to see every final.

My most memorable final was 1953 - the Matthews final - when Blackpool were 3-1 down to Bolton and, inspired by Sir Stanley's sheer magic, they ended up as 4-3 winners. Amazing game!
