Very very sad. Thank you so much Neil Warnock, even though you were sacked you have been one of the greatest QPR managers ever. Thanks for getting us here. I hope whoever comes can keep us here. Good luck to you.

Really wish SSN hadn't have put that video up of Warnock then. Almost shed a tear Exactly what I didn't want to happen is happening though. Fans have turned on the board. On SSN fans have emailed in saying stuff like 'Fernandes out' and 'i'm not renewing my season ticket next season'. What video was that ? What did they show ? It just showed him celebrating at Watford last season and lifting the trophy.

Am glad to hear that Curle and Jones have gone, IMO they are the cause of the problem.

Makes you wonder who we will sign now. I bet this has been on the cards for a while and the players we sign will be the new managers list. Get that chequebook out tony...

Spot on. He seemed different this season though, like he cared a little less.

I think some one else said in another thread that its best he goes now while the majority of fans still like him. Unfortunately this is a results business, a dog eat dog world.
BUT FOR WHAT ITS WORTH..... A MASSIVE THANKS TO NEIL FOR GETTING US BACK WHERE WE BELONG
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS UUUUUUUUUUU RRRRRRRRRR'SSSSS

Thanks to neil and keith for doing a wonderful job at loftus road.
They did the impossible under a troublesome regime, and for that they achieved legendary status.
However we are now halfway through the season, and I agree with the board here. With this team we should be doing better.
Again thanks to Neil for writing a new chapter in QPR!

Just echoing the vast majority of posts on this thread, but I just find it sad. Predictable perhaps but hope Neil realises how grateful we all are as fans for what he has done for the club. Whoever they choose to replace him with has a big pair of shoes to fill and I hope whatever Neil decides to do next is successful. At the end of the day though, the club is bigger than any individual so reluctantly it is onwards and upwards!!

It isnt announced that it will be Hughes, although his name seems to be the one as just heard Wilkins discussing his prowess at different teams.

I am shocked and dismayed.
So for all the false dawns it seems that TF has as much class, loyalty and football nouse as his predecessors. I will avoid twitter, as what I would say would have my season ticket confiscated. Rumours that 'senior players' (loud mouthed Jo) have influenced this, only re-inforces my disgust.
Hughes or Zola!!! FFS
Thank you for making us believe again Neil, I am ashamed to be an R tonight.

All good things come to an end....
and Neil done a really great job at QPR but now its Tony Fernandes time to put his money where his mouth is and employ a manager who has the technique and experience to keep QPR in the premiership....

He did a great job and will always be a legend, but it seems to be the right choice, if we had carried on our recent form we would have been relegated

I am truely gutted In the 25 years i have supported Rangers, i don't think another manager gave me as many happy days than Neil Warnock did. Thank you Mr Warnock for everything you've done You put the pride back in to this club

A sad moment for him and a sad moment for us. Doesn't mean we won't build and strengthen and even flourish from here, but there should be no sense of triumphalism from those that have been calling for this (and to be fair, I haven't seen any yet). As I said earlier today ( qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=28760), I think football is still about emotion, sentiment and nostalgia more than results and mega-bucks success, or at least it is for many of us. The emotional side of the game comes from the collective experience we create as QPR fans, and every now and again there's a fairytale woven into that - NW wrote us one of those fairytales, and whatever happens from here on in we should thank and remember him for it.

I would like to add my voice to this Message Board and to wish Neil Warnock all the very best in the future and to thank hm for the wonderful job he has done in turning our club round after years of mediocrity.
I also do feel that deteriorating results and performances over the last few weeks have suggested a change was imminent as we are halfway through the season and appear to be going downhill. This has been reflected in the increasingly disgruntled posts and mood on this forum.
Perhaps in time this may be lauded as the best thing the owners ever did, nevertheless right know I feel sorry for Neil and the disappointment he must be feeling.

1. Let's just hope we don't get relegated now, cos we prob can't call on NW any more, lol. 2. Do I need to change my avatar now? ... Nah! NW = QPR Legend!

I think we could all see that he was struggling but even though a lot of people were questioning his position this still comes as a suprise. Have to wish him good luck in whatever he decides to do next maybe its time for him to relax and enjoy cornwall at least it all seems to have been done the right way and with both tony and amit united.
