F*CK OFF ;D I am still not quite sure where you stand on this maude. ;D Maybe if you made those big black letters even bigger .

Did the BBC say Rangers were in negotiations or did the Telegraph reporter Patrick Foster say it.

They might not all be out for 4 years so looking at 6-7 years before we can move into our new home is the rumour going round which won't suit us. I hope they can come to some kind of arrangement

They can not demolish the TV Centre building (The Doughnut) as it is a listed building so I wonder where they would fit a stadium on that site.

Wonder if that's true! TALKSPORT
* Exclusive - Buck: Most Chelsea fans would support a move away from Stamford Bridge * o By Anton Stanley Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has told talkSPORT that the majority of the club’s fans would back a move away from Stamford Bridge - in the right circumstances. The Blues’ owner, Roman Abramovich, is already mulling over a move away from their home on Fulham Road to help put the club on a par with Manchester United and Arsenal, who have stadiums which hold in excess of 60,000 fans. And the chairman wants the club’s supporters to know that they don’t want to leave Stamford Bridge but for economical reasons it may be pertinent for Chelsea to move to a bigger ground. Buck said: “We have been consulting the fans over the last seven or eight years because one of the questions that I get asked literally every day is what are we doing about a new stadium and I’ve talked to hundreds of fans so I think we have a pretty good feel for what the fans’ perspective is. “There are a few fans – and I do think it’s very few - that no matter what the situation is they don’t want to move. Even if it means no money and we’re relegated to the conference or whatever and I can understand that they’re so attached to their ancestral home but I think a large body of fans recognise what the world is today and in the right circumstances they would support a move. “I think we have to remember why Chelsea Pitch Owners was formed in the mid-nineties and that was because there was a fear that real estate developers would drive the club off this site unwillingly, we’re not talking about that. “I think when Mr Abramovich arrived those days disappeared. I think now we’re in a situation where it’s right that the club have the freehold back so that it can determine its destiny appropriately and can look at the situation and decide for the whole site what’s better for Chelsea football club. “And to be perfectly honest the position of the board and Mr Abramovich is no different to that of the fans. We like it here, this is a great spot. I love walking down the Fulham Road on Saturday afternoons and coming here. I don’t want to leave here but I also have to recognise that football is changing and there may be a situation in a circumstance where we will say it is right for us to move. “It’s not an us and them situation, we’re all in the same boat here trying to do what’s best for Chelsea football club.” But Buck was was adamant that a ground-share with Queens Park Rangers would not be on the cards.
“I don’t think our fans would consider a ground-share,” said Buck. “I’m against a ground-share and most importantly Mr Abramovich would be adverse to a ground-share.
“It just doesn’t feel right to me as a fan. Even if I have a home and it’s a new home I want it to be my home.”CLICK On to LISTEN - www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/1171/80/exclusive-buck-most-chelsea-fans-would-support-move-away-stamford-bridge

London 24 Buck: Chelsea have spoken to developers, but we need dialogue with CPOs Matt Diner, London24 sports editor Thursday, October 6, 2011 5:03 PM Blues chairman says no decisions have been made about the club’s future Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck has said the club need a proper dialogue with the Chelsea Pitch owners for the sake of the club. Speaking on Sky Sports News Buck claims that no decisison have been made, but confirmed they have had discussions with developers. “My message to the CPO’s is that we would like you to consider the letter I wrote and have a proper dialogue, ask me questions then vote what they vote for the sake of Chelsea FC,” he said. “The responses I have had are generally positive. There are people looking for clarifications, asking why didn’t tear down the hotel? “I try to go in detail how at Stamford Bridge it would be difficult to expand the capacity and if we could it would likely be by only by a few thousand. “We have made no decision whatsoever there is no conspiracy here. We are trying to be good business people here. “If a good opportunity comes along then we want to be in a position to consider it rationally.” Earl’s Court, Battersea and Imperial Wharf have all been mooted as possible destinations for a new ground and Buck has not ruled anything out. “Of the sites that have been mentioned in the papers several sets of developers with have talked to us,” he said. “We’ve listened to them and we have an obligation to listen to have an open mind but no decision has been made.” With the financial fair play rules in place Chelsea have three years to break even and Buck concedes they will have to work hard to save money. “We are looking at increased sponsorship, trimming the wage bill. Its a balancing act,” Buck said. “Win the model we have to implement financial fair play in our discussions, we have not included increased capacity at Stamford bridge or anywhere else to comply. “A club like Arsenal have £30m a year more than we do from match day revenue and we have to find a way to make it up somehow.” www.london24.com/sport/chelsea/buck_chelsea_have_spoken_to_developers_but_we_need_dialogue_with_cpos_1_1082104

Chelsea fans snub Abramovich Chelsea supporters are set to deliver a massive snub to Roman Abramovich. The Chelsea Pitch Owners’ Association (CPO) look certain to veto the sale of Stamford Bridge to the Russian billionaire at an EGM on October 27th. Chelsea have written to the 12,000 members of the CPO asking them to release the freehold of Stamford Bridge so the club could in the future relocate to a new 65,000 seater stadium. CPO was set up in 1993. At the time, the fans were keen to prevent Stamford Bridge from being sold for development. Now Abramovich is offering £1.2m for the CPO shares. In return he promises that the club will not relocate outside three miles from Stamford Bridge if they find a new home by 2020. The CPO shareholders have no guarantees about what could happen after that. Chelsea have looked at several new sites, but the stand-out option is Battersea alongside the Thames. Reports now that TF wants to build a ground share 50,000 seat stadium at the BBC site Did it specify which BBC site? The Television Center site is now looking unlikely but we have enquired about the back office site which is sitting on the old White City site and the BBC have announced that they are now looking to vacate that building and move their operations entirely away from White City.

TONY FERNANDES TARGETS BBC SITE
QPR owner Tony Fernandes Sunday October 9,2011
QPR are lining up a £300million move that could spark a football revolution in London.
New owner Tony Fernandes is understood to want to build a new 50,000-capacity stadium on the massive White City site which the BBC, hamstrung by budget cuts, is set to quit and sell.
And the prospect of sharing it with another London club to help fund the project is also being seriously considered.
Fernandes has made a move from QPR’s present Loftus Road stadium just a quarter of a mile away top priority as part of a five-year plan to transform the Premier League new boys into big players.
“We will have to move and we are looking around,” Fernandes revealed. “You need lofty ambitions and as we move up the Premier League it will be very important to build a fan base.”
But QPR could face competition from Spurs if their bid to move into the Olympic Stadium instead of West Ham fails.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is also keen to quit Stamford Bridge and move to a new, bigger stadium.

Very much hope we don't build a 50,000 stadium. 30,000. At most 35,000 and maybe with the capability to expand it. White elephant coming up.
