It's so easy to get depressed thought I would list some positives.
As the Sunday Times said yesterday 'QPR are super fit and mean as buzzards' add to that they are a real team where the players will fight (unlike some teams full of journeymen). The team will rally behind Warnock in his battle against Tango & Cash.
In DJ, Bothroyd, Tarbat and Mackie we have a goal scoring machine.
Paddy will prove himself this year as a top premership goalie.
Warnock will get in loan players to strengthen the defence.
Warnock knows how to set up a team tactically and he will maintain last years formation which be hard for clubs (other than the elite) to break down.
I believe that Buzsaky could be cover for Fraulin / Derry.
We will have new owners before the Xmas transfer window.
The only thing that depresses me is QPR moving away from being a family orientated club that looked at it's fans as an honest reflection of it's-self and treated them with respect.
Everything else is part and parcel of being a QPR fan and is enjoyed because of that.
Lack of spending in the transfer market doesn't bother me because it rewards the players that got us up and I supported and believed in them last season, simply being in a different division can hardly change that and also because with our present up to date debt estimated conservatively at around £80m, the last thing we we want to do is add millions to it, especially under the present board who will only loan it to us.
Looking forward to it my-self, they just need to sort out the ticket prices and stop mugging the fans off and we'll all be happy and back to moaning about the Manager's tactics, substitutions and fu(kin' useless referees.
Tony Fernandes: “Many people do not realise the power of sport to market a brand” “You can spend £40 million on advertising and have nothing like the same effect." “It can’t be about one benefactor. I might be hit by a bus".
We're actually going to have to be cheering on Chelsea (and Man Ut) and hoping they actually win certain games (such as beating Norwich and Swansea)
"They were careless people...they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back to their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made."
Ray love the optimistic outlook, I'm with you mate think we are going to have a great season. Where are you guys gona be sitting for the bolton game? I cant wait! I just got my tickets for the newcastle game aswell, hopefully 3 points from both games!!
