www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2407175,00.html R's gaffer Neil Warnock has today (Tuesday) confirmed his squad numbers for the 2011/12 Barclays Premier League campaign. New signings Danny Gabbidon, Kieron Dyer and Jay Bothroyd have been handed the six, eight and 10 shirts respectively. Paddy Kenny - QPR Supporters' Player and Players' Player of the Year for 2010/11 - keeps his place at number one Elsewhere, Adel Taarabt and Alejandro Faurlin have retained the 7 and 11 berths, while Akos Buzsaky, Heidar Helguson and Peter Ramage will wear numbers 14, 22 and 27 next term. The number nine berth has not, interestingly, been filled as yet. 2011/12 QPR SQUAD NUMBERS 1 Paddy KENNY 2 Bradley ORR 3 Clint HILL 4 Shaun DERRY 5 Fitz HALL 6 Danny GABBIDON 7 Adel TAARABT 8 Kieron DYER 10 Jay BOTHROYD 11 Alejandro FAURLIN 12 Jamie MACKIE 13 Kaspars GORKSS 14 Akos BUZSAKY 16 Matt CONNOLLY 19 Patrick AGYEMANG 20 Rob HULSE 21 Tommy SMITH 22 Heidar HELGUSON 23 Petter VAAGAN MOEN 24 Radek CERNY 25 Hogan EPHRAIM 27 Peter RAMAGE 28 Michael DOUGHTY 29 Danny SHITTU 30 Troy HEWITT 31 In memory of Ray JONES Surely DJ gets the number 9 then?? Or someone else possibly? I would have thought DJ would have kept the no.39 he had at Blackpool.

Just to add, Doughty and Hewitt are both under 21 so are not covered by the 25 man squad rule.

Apparently he didn't go on the Italy tour because of a small injury so hopefully he recovers and signs for us.

unfortunately haqpr - both dj and jay are better. Yeah, but how will they work together? Would have been nice to see them during pre season to find out. HH was massive last season, Best player we had in the air front and back, also did so much to make space for others to score. Every ball played from the back was aimed at him and he pulled oppo defences all over the place. I think without him Adel would have had half the goals he managed. Lets hope you are right.........

I think Warnock's loyal...Will start the season with Helguson on the field
Plus. As we've seen over years, numbers don't always mean anything.

That defence resembles the Maginot Line. They can and should do muuch better than that.
The difference between the Premiership attacks and the championship is massive.

Last season we had a great starting 11 but not a lot of depth to the squad....
Can't really see that much has changed to be honest......

In my oppinion:-
Campbell (provided he signs) would be our best goalscorer.
Helguson would be the best at holding up the ball & better in the air.
Bothroyd probably best of the three overall.
I am still struggling to see how two of these plus Adel & Tommy Smith or Dyer would fit in to our system. If we were to add a fit Mackie to this we would appear to me to be lopsided.
