Smudge Tweets "QPR club statement. It's Wacky Races stuff from Dastardly and Muttley. What the hell are they talking about?" He'll be pissed off, his contact got it wrong. 5 days ago: @smudge1962 Paul Smith And finally on the supposed Russian takeover. Absolute nonsense. I was told there is absolutely no truth in this whatsoever.

I can understand the holding company stating legal bollox.
I cannot understand the official website, which is supposedly for fans is it not, simply repeating the meaningless bollox. Why are they not explaining the meaning to the fanbase?
Silly me, we are simply meaningless cannonfodder.
So pleased i didn't buy season tickets of these arseholes!!!!!!

We need a more blue-sky approach to ambient modular projections.

At base level, this just comes down to 'Outside the box' incremental consulting.
The solution can only be knowledge-based relative options.

I think it means
'stop speculating you 20 pound supporters on your messageboards, we don't have to tell you if we are or not in takeover talks'

QPR DAD WHERE ARE YOU? They seek him here, they seek him there............. Only me..... (he says in annoying Harry Enfield voice) When the first offer was made, I did say that I didn't think that the City code came into play. The City code sets out amongst other things that Companies are compelled to let the market know if they are trying to sell, or be bought. Now QPR have confirmed that they too believe they are no longer bound by the rules, and so are cannot be compelled to divulge any plans to sell the Club (company) now or in the future. Incidentally, I do believe that I predicted a takeover around about this time! in a PM to Qpr Report! I'm always wary, as we all are of new owners, it's in the veins of all Rangers supporters, (and at 50 years old I'm the veteran of many, as too are others on here).... but in this case, I'd rather Championship footy, on the brink of relegation than ownership by the present incumbents, albeit with the exception of Messrs Mittal and Bahtia.

Is'nt the Club Statement just a very complicated way of saying "Hey, we were in takeover talks this spring, but since its now is more then ten years since the Administration and the Loftus Road PLC (dated 2 april 2001) delisting from the stock market we now we by corporate laws dont have to tell you sh*t. We are maybe in takeover talks, were maybe not". Back in March-April they were still talking with Mittals, right?
But one could ask why it took them 4 months to post this crypted statement. If the "Code" was in effect this March, didnt they have to post a statement back in March then? Or, perhaps its just the same FA-backlog as the Faurlin-gate?

SirBaxter,
Basically yes, but in the Club's defence, they are making a clear public statement, so there can now be no doubt.

Or, perhaps its just the same FA-backlog as the Faurlin-gate? The previous talks commenced prior to March, in January and whilst not completed before the ten year period on the City Code expired they where commenced during that period and hence where held to the standard in the code even in completed after the expiration date. This is all pretty standard stuff and not worth really concentrating on. Anything that makes it easier for the present board to fu(k off is a positive in my eyes.
