Isleworth
I have been a ST holder since 2004 & I will now await what happens with Mac's actions.
If Maude or anyone else is going to the LSA meeting tomorrow & cared to ask them what they know about the meeting with the OSC I would be very interested in their reply.

I hope the much vaunted / discussed OSC meeting between "the club" & "the fan's" was a lot more productive that the following imagined scenario..........
Meeting Commences;
Gianni Paladini, "Jump"
Free Seat Pete, "How High ?"
Gianni Paladini, "Bend Over"
Scott Jones, "How Far ?"
Meeting Over.

I don't think Pete/Scott are part of the OSC "General Command"
And to be fair, no reason to doubt that OSC "executive" are genuine QPR people. Sure they are. Involved because the love QPR, etc.
But how much power, independence they have - and who exactly these people are - and how they're chosen etc, are very legitimate questions.
As for Terryb's questions: If they're not answered directly to Terry...or in response to my post...or to others...or in the LSA meeting.
Then I suggest keep asking them. Directly to the club. Diifferent people at the club. And on the boards. And on Twitter. And on Newsnow.
It's not unreasonable to expect that journalists will pick up on this matter.

I'm a bit surprised about all this. It's not like those questions should be in the too hard basket.

Well the LSA meeting is today
If no answer, just keep asking - different people at the club
And we can keep posting

Don't know if you got a response yet (I'd imagine not) But someone from OSC responded briefly to a poster "2touch" who posted on WATRB OSC EGM - Further email received -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I emailed the OSC trying to get things moved on a bit and got a response. See the exchange of emails below. It is from 'Karen' but I am not sure what position she holds within the OSC.The original response was from Linda Favell the OSC Secretary. The important thing is that the meeting WILL happen, but I don't understand what is so complicated about booking a room somewhere and publishing it on the website? Anyway, here is the promised latest email exchange: From: k Frame To: qprosc@yahoo.co.uk Sent: Wed, 15 June, 2011 18:23:03 Subject: RE: Request for an Extraordinary General Meeting - Letter from 31 members of the OSC Linda, Thank you for your email, I await your further comments with a suitable EGM date. I appreciate that there are certain logistics to be considered in arranging the meeting, but am sure you will agree that it is imperative that the meeting be held soon as one of the main issues at the meeting is bound to be ticket pricing. For this reason, I think it would be reasonable for a date to be announced and appropriately publicised to all members of the OSC in advance if the season ticket renewal deadline, which I believe is the 27th June. I also think it would be a good PR move for these ongoin developments to be publicised on the www.qpr.co.uk so that the members feel that they are not being totally ignored and know that an EGM is being arranged. We all have the best interests of the club at heart here and it is nobody's interests for the fans to be angry with the club. Keir Kier Many apologies for not getting back to you before but we are currently waiting for the Club to come back to us with an appropriate date. We will publish the details of the meeting on the OSC page on the official QPR site. Thank you Karen www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=104802

Below is a copy of a reply I have received today from the OSC.
As you will see, no answers are yet forthcoming!
I have replied to the OSC asking who at Rangers they have forwarded this request to & why they cannot supply the answers themselves.
As they have copied the mail to Daniel at QPR I am assuming that this is again to marketing!
Am not sure that we have made any steps forwards but perhaps they are beginning to realise that a reply IS required.
Many thanks for your email and I will pass it on to the correct person at the Club for response, Ian Taylor was not at the meeting and therefore does not have details you require. Thank you

Note: Forwarded message is attached.
To the Queens Park Rangers Official Supporters Club I am forwarding to you an E Mail I sent to Ian Taylor following the OSC meeting with QPR. As you will see I have not yet received a reply from Mr Taylor & so I have sent it again today with the addition of another question. Please could you supply me with the answers to my questions as I feel sure that they are not contentious & would be a matter of record. Thanking you Terry Brown

So what's the next step that should be taken by the fans? (Always acknowledging that PROBABLY cannot make an impact). But that doesn't mean one shouldn't try.

Mac
Below is the E Mail I sent to QPR yesterday. Still no reply!
Dear Mr. Laryea May I remind you that it is almost a week since you informed me that Ian Taylor had asked you to reply to the E Mail that I originally sent to him on 7/6/11. This followed re-sending this mail to Mr. Taylor on 14/6/11 and forwarding a copy to Queens Park Rangers Official Supporters Club. Since then I have received a reply from the OSC informing me that Ian Taylor was not at the meeting and that they would forward my questions to the appropriate person at the club. Therefore, two weeks after I sent the message I have received no replies to questions that should have been a matter of record. This is just not good enough for a Premier League club! In my job if I did not respond to customer correspondence I would soon find myself in the ranks of the unemployed. If you are unable or unwilling to supply me with the answers please tell me and let me know who at the club I should direct my questions to. I sincerely hope that this lack of response is not indicative of the norm for the Public Relations and Marketing departments at Queens Park rangers. I look forward to receiving the answers to my questions by return along with an explanation for the lack of respect & courtesy shown to me. Terry Brown

Something though is amiss and as I said earlier dont let them fob you off

If you turn it into an "Open Letter," I'll post it on the QPR Report Blog
(If you have any additions, or combine the earlier one, and then away we go...)
"Name and Shame" (or at let get it out there)
So if you post here or just pm me.../email me)
If you want. If you don't, that's fine

Mac
I really don't know whay I want to do!
Half of me is saying to take it as far as I can, not to worry about who I may upset at the club & broadcast to everyone in the world (well, slight exageration).
The other half is telling me that I certainly don't have the time or the means to take them on. I also have a fear (irrationally, I hope) that the club would take reprisal action against me. What they could do I would have no idea!
What I have come to doubt is that a meeting ever took place. I certainly accept that the OSC informed them that supporters were angry with the increases but I can't help feeling that was the only action taken.
Why else can't the club, or especially the OSC give answers to simple questions?

Reprisals? Our Club?!
(Might be too late, if they read the messageboards, which it has been repeatedly suggested that they do)
But if they do read the messageboards, it may not be to help with answers to supporters' questions!

It appears that at QPR no one knows who is on the committee of their own OSC. Ian Taylor who heads up the Rangers press office has no idea who is on it, even though it was his office that issued the joint response of QPR & OSC. Although Taylor has told me that Joe Kyle and Daniel Laryea of Marketing !!!!! will know. Try ringing these two at Rangers. Kyle 0208 740 2514. Laryea 0208 740 2527. and they both go straight to leave a message.
Draw your own conclusions.

Just to note it will be three weeks tomorrow since the club/OSC held their meeting. And then the joint statement was issued June 7 QPR & THE OSC Posted on: Tue 07 Jun 2011On Friday 3rd June 2011, members of the OSC Committee met with representatives of the Club on behalf of the fans to discuss several areas of concern, chief among them the prices of Season Tickets for the upcoming season. The OSC has always met regularly with the Club for a number of years but it was felt that this was a more serious issue than usual and, as such, requested an urgent ad-hoc meeting. At the meeting, the OSC expressed the view that they were aware of concern amongst the fanbase regarding the increase in prices and the renewal period, putting forward their views in a frank and honest way. The meeting also highlighted the importance of the OSC as a mouthpiece for the fans. It was agreed that moving forward, the OSC would continue to meet frequently and will aim to meet monthly with the Club to discuss any issues or concerns that the fans might have. The Club proposes to publish a reminder of the upcoming meeting a week in advance and encourage the fans to contact the OSC with any topics they would like discussed. A summary of the points of discussion and the agreed next steps will be made available on the Club website following each meeting. The Club hopes that other supporters groups will also be able to hold regular meetings with the OSC, in order to allow the OSC to better communicate their views to us www.qpr.co.uk/page/OfficialSupportersClub/0,,10373~2372225,00.html
