But except the FA: We have to lose all three. And Cardiff and Norwich both have to win all three for us not to be promoted... If we'd lost today, Cardiff would have been 5 points behind...
1 QPR 43 38 84
2 Norwich 43 23 77 3 Cardiff 43 24 76

Well that Dave Jones is certainly a magnanimous pr!ck isnt he ?
Perfectly happy with the performance & the result, QPR have never won matches like that in their history, its not the nature of the club, people that thought we were going to go up there & win easily & all end up celebrating in the sun are either young & idealistic or dont understand the nature of the club that they support.
I'm not going to mention "The P Word" until Monday where I think a point will be enough for it to be official.

Imagine if Jones was in charge of QPR, with our existing squad. And Warnock was in charge of Cardiff, with their existing squad: Anyone doubt which club would be run away leaders? Anyway to be fair to Jones, he was probably very hot in his shirt and tie, as Warnock wore his shorts and short sleeved shirt!

Great point by MacM above. Cardiff would have had it sewn up in March with NW at the helm. By the way, this sloooow ending and mild uncertainty is sort of OK, like the end of a fantastic film!

Harlow it seems good as it would dampen their hopes for that last playoff spot.

Missed entire match, thought a 3p ko. Oh well. lol Well, I enjoyed the match regardless of whether QPR played well today, I thought our defence was very poor today, Gorkks in particular, the whole defence was very hesitant, I actually thought the fullbacks did alright today, but it was nigh on a horrorshow from the centre backs. You saw in the match today the very reason why QPR will be "P Word" this season. QPR of the not too distant past & historically would have folded / bottled it today, when it look like things were going to go wrong, things would have gone wrong IE we would have choked & lost 4-1 QPR under Neil Warnock find a way to consolidate or adapt to the situation rather than the classic QPR capitulation scenario, so now we can play badly & get a point where we used to play badly & lose 4-1 now we play "badly" & get a point, that's what Neil Warnock has done, he's made us a professional unit that wont get rolled over, whereas we blatantly used to be & used to be seen as a soft touch.

Overall, I'd rather Hull had lost than won...Saps their confidence They're still mathematically in playoff spot but much harder. They NEED to win against QPR. Not just hold out for draw
6 Nott'm Forest 43 11 66 7 Leeds 43 10 66 8 Hull 43 3 63

Seems Hull are better away, why is that? Quick on the break or summat?

Seems Hull are better away, why is that? Quick on the break or summat? Must inspire them to be in a more cultured area than Hull. Makes a change for them to look in the crowd & see women with a full set of teeth etc.

A great result today and a big shout to all the travelling R's fans, you could be heard loud on clear on the TV today.
I thought that the result was a fair reflection, although their threat started to wane in the last 20 minutes and I thought we looked most likely to sneak it as the game wore on.
Credit to Cardiff, they do play good, attacking football and have pace up front, which aside from Routledge is one area that will need addressing if we get promoted. The central defence is also prone to bouts of nervousness at times and again we will be exposed in this area in the Premiership.
Many positives, a great result in hot and hostile conditions, Rangers proving that they can do comebacks these days and the two goals, which were both top drawer.
My son Jack and I will be in the Lower Loft on Monday and from Sawbridgeworth in Hertfordshire we would both like to wish the players, staff and supporters all the luck in the world for a win to give us the Grand Finale to a wonderful season that we all deserve........COME ON YOU R's.
