this is all taking a bit too long for my liking.
if there is a points deduction to be made, get on with it so we know where we stand.
imagine finishing the season 9 points clear of 2nd, only to be docked 10 points(!)

Yeah he wasn't 100% sure;
davidmcintyre76 David McIntyre @ @richardsteele30 Hard to say for sure but I think it may well be April 1st (seriously). Either March 31st or April 1st. But don't know yet.

That would go down as being the unluckiest thing in the world and chuck us back in the PO mix , but more people ITK say more likely fines , so fines it is but like you say Gibraltar dragging on , we dont of course really know if its QPR doing the dragging or the FA !

tru, maybe we see it as "they wont deduct points if it is too close to end of season" or "if they see us 10 points clear at end of season, maybe they'll decide to deduct 10, therefore allowing us to be promoted"
tbh i dont know how their minds think

But they're not FA ITK - They're QPR "ITK" - Big difference But there's an obvious deadline. Before the last game of season/deciding playoffs. Which gives us leverage: If the FA wants to send a message/with points deduction... QPR (with presumably the self-interested exception of Gianni) don't mind the deduction as long as we go up as Champions... Just need to know how many points we need to go up as Champions...and then we can "conceded" to the FA. (If only life was as simple/rational/logical as well ordered as I make it appear! )

It's up to the FA to set a hearing date. There is no deadline for submission in the FA statement, nor a full list of charges. For all we know there may have already been a hearing, behind closed doors as it were.
Also it was reported that the FA paid us a visit to check our Premier league credentials which too me, was certainly not the reason for the visit.

If there was a hearing behind closed doors wouldnt the FA make it public , arent they obliged to do so. Well i cant see Dave M being correct now then as generally you get more notice than 3-4 days.

But just because they haven't publicly announced the date of the hearing - and just because the "ITKs" havent said - doesnt mean that there isn't already a date

Some parts of me thinks we should be told whats happening but on the other hand i dont want the players fretting about it and taking there eye off the ball , but with NW cant see that happening anyway , so would like to know really .

The club and Paladini are in CYA mode. And it's not clear - at least to me - that the interests of the club; and the interests of Paladini are necessarily the same. That's why I wondered if had different lawyers.

Up and about. the FA rule book is 536 pages long and covers in incredible detail every possible
angle for football which I think a lawyer would have to specialise in this to be able to work up a case.
Clubs that want to avoid the wrath of the FA imo should carry an on contract person to go over every aspect of the clubs dealings with players, agents, schedules, relations with lower leagues and so ad finitum.

Did Cominelli do everything correct. Last April
QPR star set to open contract talks - QPR will sit down on Monday with Alejandro Faurlin to persuade the midfielder his future is with them – and not two top clubs trying to lure the £3.5million Argentine away. - Rangers are set to dangle the carrot of a hike in wages on his three-year deal provided he ignores the overtures from Celtic and an unnamed Premiership club. - Faurlin’s agent, Lucas Cominelli revealed the midfielder’s rise to prominence has courted outside attention. - Cominelli said: “There are things to discuss with QPR, and in the next week or so we should know more.” - However, the 23-year-old is more than happy to commit to Rangers, after a first season when he got better and better despite playing under five different managers. - But for once, Faurlin's background was actually a bonus in dealing with the constant stream of departures. - He said: “In Argentina it’s normal. When you lose three or four games, he (the manager) is gone. - “But every new manager has different ideas of how to play – and that’s not always easy to understand straight away.” - Despite the rollercoaster that has been QPR’s season, Faurlin does not regret leaving his home country for a second. - In his first-ever interview since arriving from Instituto El Cordoba last summer, the Argentine reckons he owes a debt of gratitude to Rangers – and is looking to repay the faith shown in him by the club. - He said: “Yes it was difficult at first with the language and different football. - “And it’s true we didn’t have as good season as we wanted. But I thank Gianni Paladini (chairman) for bringing me here and giving me the chance to prove myself in England. - “Personally I think I got better, and I am very happy and comfortable here – and Neil Warnock is a very positive manager. He knows what he wants, and he trusts me.”

Football League - Torquay and Hereford receive points deduction Torquay United and Hereford United a points deduction for fielding unregistered players. A Football Disciplinary Commission has deducted Torquay United 1 point and Hereford United 3 points for fielding unregistered players in their npower League 2 match on February 1. The clubs have also both been fined £10,000, of which £2,500 must be paid in the next 28 days. The ruling comes after Torquay selected Jake Robison and Hereford fielded Rob Purdie despite neither having been registered with The Football League by 12.00pm the day before the match, the cut-off point for players to be registered. Taken from that article;
'In cases like these, the clubs ordinarily lose the points they gained in the match, as well as receiving a token fine, and in recent years the Football League and the FA have been consistent.'
Anyone know how many points we gained in the 6 matches Ali played before he signed that new contract?
