I posted this when this board first started. I completely meant it then. I fully intend to adhere to it now. I would hope and expect everyone posting on this site to adhere to such a policy. While some pay lip service, I really mean it: All the posters on all the sites - including the ones that we're having our bitterest fights with: They're all QPR. Thanks

Mike give us an example of an insult. How do we decide between opinion, criticism, my way out opinion v his,, argument, winding up, michael taking, being nasty, affront, indignity, silly joke, barb dig, cast aspersion, regional, British rivalries. Im not trying to be difficult, just to understand better. Like Paladini was a waiter. So I said He means Paul "the waiter' Ricca. who is a member of the Gambino italian Mafia, or was. So Am I Red Carded or Insulting because there is an allusion to Italians being Mafiosi or Paladini being mafia connected.. well stuff like that. Cheers, and I really think it is a critical point, especially on-line like this, where one can actually be charged with slander or libel. p.s one can be insulting but the recipient takes it in good humour, or one can not intend to insult but the other takes it that way.

Well let's put it they way:
- If you're on a messageboard debating/winding up another poster that's a little different than if you talking about some third party. You really don't need to denigrate, resort to ad hominems. I think you all know what I mean. Am I without sin? Do I ever lose it? Of course. Especially elsewhere. In the case of our former Chairman, I don't think we need ethnic stereotypes. Or other kind of stereotypes. I was a critic for what he did. I seem to have become a critic again. But based on how I perceive his actions.
There's no lack of boards where denigration is oft too common.
I'm not into board moderation. I want this to be the board which doesn't NEED moderation.
Anyway: If any individual questions, see me after class!

Has an actual altercation occurred within the confines of this message board or elsewhere? If elsewhere, as I do not recall anything here, why the need for the reminder here? Seems to me that we're all getting along fine and all behaving ourselves, though I may have missed something.

Seriously Mike, I didn't intend to cause friction among any of the knowledgeable & long time posters on the board by trying to enhance an argument through peoples past job titles, I didn't think it would cause offense.
Apologies in advance.

Just caught up. Didn't see floridar's earlier post. A bit silly but nothing to get concerned about. I thought for a second we were being boarded but now I can see it's the opposite.

Floridar, I feel no offense at your post, though others might, and if they do it would be their right. But dont apologise or be turned off. god knows we need more new posters on this board and keep posting Welcome.

On the other hand, I won't censor anybody's stuff just because it may not fit in with my views. Obviously there are always paramaters on every site. But no threat of censorship here! Moving on...
