100 Days and still here - That's almost longer than some QPR managers
Has this board taken the QPR Web World by storm?
- Not exacly! But this site does receive a reasonable number of visitors - obviously considerably more than those that post.
And hopefully, both numbers will continue to rise. But as I've said, quality rather than quantity is a preferred goal.
Do I continue to think this site can make a positive contribution to the QPR Web World?
- More than ever! At a very minimum, it provides a further forum to post items of QPR and football interest. I think it can continue to do far more. But obviously that's in the hands of others. The forum is provided. Whether or not people want to use it, is obviously their prerogative
This is what I said in the Introduction to the Board
qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=8
Have I - and those who post here -kept to what I set out to do in setting up the board?
- I'd say yes. There have been a few blips - almost entirely myself. But basically I've tried to keep it to QPR - and broader football matters. And keep those other subjects to other sites.
And hopefully try and avoid repeating errors.
- And to make this a forum, where one won't feel they'll get abused by others for putting forward a position not held by the majority.
This is what I originally said about the Board's Moderators:
- qprreport.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1147
- As I said, what I mean by moderators is somewhat different to the norm. And I'm very, very appreciative of those from the other QPR boards (and to BP) who agreed to become moderators of this site.
Many may not yet know about this site; some may ignore it; a few may even mock it; But bottom line, for better or worse, this site isn't going anywhere.
So in the meantime, all those who have visited this site - and especially those who have posted here, many thanks and hopefully many years of posting.
