I am so convinced that our board members are such tight arses and wont spend that if they sign 5 players of significant quailty & value before the deadline, I'll eat my wife's cream pie!

It doesn't look like we are preparing for premiership football. Not just the squad but in other areas as well. Where is the greater infrastructure required to support a Premiership team?

What surprises me is that he would say this to the press. Under Brie that would be the call for Robbes-
pierre to do a public beheading.
Supposedly he is on great terms with management. Guardian could have amplified for a story.
If the opposite? Bernies appearance?? changed the terms with management? Sometimes thinking
too much is bad for ones health.

Can't think of any Club that is spending its owners' money. They're all spending their OWN money.
So these people aren't using their own money to fund QPR. They're using QPR's money to fund their own regimes. That's why the losses appear in the QPR accounts, not the Ecclestone accounts.
Seems to be only 5 minutes since this was Mittal's Club, and 5 minutes before that it was Briatore's. Not to mention Caliendo.
And if the last set of accounts is anything to go by, with an £18 million loss in a single season, and a couple of Board members positioned to help themselves to the Ground - another £20 million - I think we should be more concerned about why the Club is paying through the nose to give THEM a free ride.

Great post. So if we spend to get to the promised land. Will we make enough there to reduce our debt?
