Holloway wanted Ebanks Blake for £200 grand from Man United.
Gianni wanted Marc Nygaard with £60 grands worth of "agents fee's" so that everyone got to whet / wet their whistles so to speak.
Thank God Gianni was proved right as ever & the likes of Sylvan Ebanks - Blake & Ian Holloway were never heard of again.
Its New Years Eve & I cant be bothered with any of all this anymore, but thats just one for old times sake.

Bump: Two Years ago BBC - QPR confirm Petter Vaagan Moen signingQPR have confirmed that Norway international midfielder Petter Vaagan Moen will join them on a free transfer from SK Brann on 1 January. The 26-year-old, named Brann's player of the year in 2010 and their top scorer with 14 goals, has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal. Rangers boss Neil Warnock told the club website: "He's tenacious, an English-type midfielder. "He's got all the attributes to adapt to the English game." Vaagan Moen joined Brann in 2006 from Ham-Kam and scored 35 goals in 158 matches. He was won seven caps for Norway, scoring once. Warnock said: "He's a player I watched a lot of last season and I'm delighted we've been able to bring him here. "He's a left-footed midfielder, who can play anywhere in the middle third of the pitch. He's got a fine goalscoring record for a midfield player." news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/q/qpr/9328404.stmMoen now with Lillestrøm SK en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petter_Vaagan_Moen

7 years ago, wow thanks Mac, I feel old Some good old posters on this thread Blockhead, Rory, Thorstein, good times.... Things back then seemed Rosier somehow even with Gianni and Flávio lol. Warnock getting us promoted, the saga of Ale F, amazing times.... I seemed a much more positive poster back then These last couple of years have been a slog, specially with FFP over us, when will it end.

He is doing much better now he has grown a beard and is playing cricket for England......and I have not opened the bubbly yet! Not sure about that 57 his bowling has gone so flat that Root and Malan were first choice spinners in the last test. He is like Ollie, needs to up his game

Not sure about that 57 his bowling has gone so flat that Root and Malan were first choice spinners in the last test. He is like Ollie, needs to up his game Don't tell Ollie about that - he will be playing Smithies at centre forward and Mackie in goal next.......maybe not a bad idea actually Ha ha I reckon Smithies would be a good Centre Forward.
