Well we got a wee bit of a goal problem at the moment Leroy has been recalled Thomson is working harder than last season but missing chances he would have scored last year sometimes you can never win!!!
As is often the case the next few games are as hard as they come come but we need a lot of work done in the midfield Steve Palmer is not ideal there and we need Birch to push for his place.
Of the park there are still great worries about paying back the loan and also the board said as much as we have no idea how we are going to pay it back at the EGM.
So i hope the LSA can keep our meeting with the club and keep tabs on the running of the club and let the fans know what is going on with the money side of things.
Also the back stabbing that is going on at the moment via the internet and at the club is out of hand you sometimes wonder if we all support the same team.
The We Are QPR PLC has pulled out which is a shame but i feel if it is to relaunch it should hold an open meeting with the fans to spell out the whole infastructure of what it means to us and QPR or i feel no information will lead to the same as before people wanting to invest but not really knowing what they are investing in.
Anyway lets hope the next few weeks will bring us a cup win and i feel seven out of nine points will keep us in the hunt and put us back in with a shout .
COME ON YOU R'S
3 October 2002
So we are still in the land of hope and dreams Saturday was the acid test for us a poor team who will put 10 men behind the ball and kick lumps out of us and we played I thought with grit and pride.
Also strange to see our players have a go at each orther even when we are winning in a weird way it shows they care.
But dare we talk of going up
The papers and media still ignor us which we have become used to but that said it would be nice if we got a wee bit of coverage.
On the way home on Saturday I did the unthinkable and allowed myself to look at our run in and if things stay as they are it's going to be a hell of a time but I am just pleased to see pride back in the hoops and long may it continue.
Also behind the doors at the club still much to be cleared up and I hope at the EGM on the 24th of this month I really hope the club pass on as much as they can to the shareholders about who the backer is and what the deal means to us as a club/plc ie can the backer demand there money back at any time ect ...
And are they club ready to do the promised thing and have a open door policy as I think we as fans deserve it and if they new board want to progress they will need to do this.
As a lot of fans still see Nick Blackburn as a front for Chris Wright and he will need a lot of talking and strong actions to reverse this veiw.
Anyway back to the main news the ground is buzzing and the players are doing the biz on the park and lets hope this time we will get our first promotion since 1982 and by god I can't think of any fans who deserve it more never forget the fact that at the end of the day
WE ARE QPR.
24 September 2002
Well after years of woe the hoops are back on top what a win on Saturday well done Olly and the lads .
At last we have our pride back and i just hope and pray we can make it all the way this year.
Also well done to the 2000 or so who went down to the west country and cheered the lads on.
Well done to king Kev who is now putting the fear of god into the div 2 defences again and a big up to Clarke and welcome back to the hoops after it was thought he would never play again.
WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE SAID WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!
10 September 2002
So after a good win on Saturday lets hope the hoops can start a good run in the league cup in east London tonight. Strange season so far we have I feel a great squad but still the defence looks at sea a lot a lot of the blame for that is Steve Palmer but I have to so say the defence is not as good as we should be but with Clarke back who knows. Furlong I feel could be a good deal for the club I know he played for the scum but I will forgive him for that if we go up via his goals. The club it self is going threw a strange time we must be the only club in the UK who 's fans are not told who lent the directors the cash for the MBO so someone will gain Loftus Road if the loan is not paid and we are not allowed to know who he/she is. Also is it just me or is the club website getting worse or what? Anyway come on Rangers let's for once have a good cup run so we can get sir Les back for the final in Cardiff (what the hell is in my coffee).

Daphne Biggs R.I.P.
It was with great sadness we heard that Daphne had died on Sunday morning in hospital. A great servant of the club for longer than anyone can remember, she and her husband before her, she had been on the old Supporters Club Committee and could always be seen in the Box Office lending a hand. On a personal note, I will always remember as a kid traveling away on the coaches in the 60's, her kindness and her dedication. She lived for the Club and must of had blue and white blood flowing through her veins. Daphne, a true legend of our Club, Queen's Park Rangers Football Club. Then, Now And Always. Rest In Peace.

What a day it all begin as always in the LSA at 12.00pm got to meet the Devon boy's and good to see the old faces as always.
As it was my birthday drink up the same day as Lillie was with my mum I could have a few jars.
The game was a bit strange some may not agree but I don't think we played that bad in the first half and it was great to see youth team players on the park a club like us should have at least three or four youngsters in the squad at all times .
But that said it was the subs that made the difference Furlong made me sit up and forget the fact he played for the scum he I feel would be worth a look at for the season Williams was class the moment of the game was when he left the Chesterfield player on his arse and did a sweet cross into the box and what about the boy Langley not sure what the hell is going on with him and olly but what a response from him to have a player of his grace on the bench shows in some way's how much better a squad we have but I think he played himself into the team for Stockport.
After Chesterfield got there goal via the ref playing the usual crap standards we come to expect at the bush these day's I feared the worse but credit to the team we came at them.
Furlongs goal was a sweet start to our season and Langers goal was great shot I did not see it come off the Chesterfield lad as the old bill ruined my view as they made sure no six year olds would run on the pitch talk about a OTT police stance at the Loft.
The magic hat made it three in the dying moment's and I hope it did him some good.
So I wonder if Olly will still play Karl up front he has the brain but not the legs I feel.
But walking away from the game I felt yep maybe this year after all the crap in the last awful five years we have a team that maybe just maybe will do it for us .
And later that night I met up with a pal of mine Paul who is a Man Utd fan (and guess what no he's not from Manchester)he said to me in the pub when I take Lillie my wee girl to her first home game in a few years would I also bring his wee girl Louise as he felt that QPR fan's are the best he has ever met and if his daughter was to follow a team he would like it to be QPR .
Any way come on R's give us a season to remember and go all the way.
COME ON YOU R's
08 August 2002
Paul Furlong has signed for the hoops for a loan deal of one month .
Saturday will make history for the LSA as Marc Bircham will be the first player and LSA member past and present to wear the hoops good luck Marc.
I really hope this is our year as we all have had a rough few seasons and have seen the club almost go bust .
I feel Olly has put a real buzz back in the place and I hope we as fans can do all we can to help the lads push for division one and not going out of the cups at the first round would be nice.
I think all QPR fans can feel proud of the way the fans has shown such undying loyalty in the face of the fact we have two premiership club's on our door step (and one in the same ground) yet our season ticket sale's are the best ever while Fulham get a mere 4751 or so in there first game at our home we will have a near full house and that's the one thing Fayed can't buy .
So if ya are going Saturday enjoy the game and let's all hope and pray the nightmare year's have left us for good

I called Nick Blackburn on Friday to discuss the Fulham deal and here is what he had to say. On the Fulham badge on the stand reasons for that is as they are paying a decent rent (his words not mine) and it would be cheaper to have it up all season than to rotate it. He also said they would have no logo on the seat's and Fayed is also having his own men's room and that again is covered by the rent. I asked has the club had talks with Fayed for a deal which gives Fulham half the ground a groundshare in other words and he said there has been no talks as yet but the board would talk to people if they had any ideas on cutting down the cost and the club is open to offers but he did see my point about the impact it would have on our fan base and the club would look at that if and when any talks took place. He also said that there was no talks about a merger and nor would there be and none had even thought about it nor had he until I brought it up. He also said that he stood by what he said some time ago that if anyone could come in and inject more cash or do a better job he would stand down for the good of QPR. Now my own view is the club would do a deal with Fulham as they are looking for a site in our area and they feel it would be better to have them at the bush rather than build a ground down the road how there fans would feel about this I have no idea but as Fayed changed the club badge and the fans as far as I know not make any protests about it he may feel that he can do whatever he want's. I still think that having Fulham at the bush or nearby is bad news for us and the thought of the club getting into a deal with Fayed turns my stomach. Over to you post what you feel about it on the messageboards, Paul Finney.

No sooner has the talk of building a great team for a strong push for division one been doing the rounds then a bomb has been dropped on us with the news that I thought would happen that Fulham may buy the rights to half of Loftus Road. Now as far as a quick fix of £8m to pay off our the loan then it may make sense to the club but as for the long term it could be a big mistake for the club as it would mean that Fulham would have access to our fan base ok at the moment it is strong but a few more years and we stay a couple of divisions behind them then it will really kick in. So let us know what your view is on this via the messageboard as I feel the club must come clean on this and all the fans can have a serious debate on this.

Do fans think £17.00 is to much for the Celtic game? Please leave a message on the messageboard with your veiw.

Marc Bircham will sign this weekend after turning down a list of clubs to wear the hoops top man.
Culkin will sign on monday. Olly had him on loan at Bristol Rovers and rates him.
I have been told most signings there after will be long term loan deals with players from Everton, West Ham and Arsenal being looked at and players from Chelsea as well .
